Here she is!

Our family is overflowing w/ babies and we love it!

We found out last night that we have a new niece. We are anxiously awaiting a picture of the beautiful Shelby Ann. (I already know she's beautiful!) She was 8 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 inches long. Kim and Shelby are both doing great. Charlie and I have doubled the niece/nephew count in the last two months so it is all very exciting. We just wish we didn't have to wait til Christmas to see them. :( Most of you already go to Ross and Kim's blog, but for those of you who don't, I'll post a pic asap.

What Happens in Vegas, Stays...no wait...Goes on the Blog

This past weekend, Charlie and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate our first anniversary. We drove up on Sunday morning and it only took about 4 and 1/2 hours, which means we will definitely be back. We spent two nights and packed a lot into those two days. We saw two shows, David Copperfield and a variety show called V. Both were amazing. I even got to be part of one of the tricks for David Copperfield. It was a lot of fun! Charlie did get a little jealous when David asked for a little peck on the cheek. I guess I should have said I couldn't b/c we were celebrating our anniversary. Charlie forgave me so thankfully it didn't ruin the trip. ;)

Image This is us infront of the fountain that we thought talked. We were waiting around for a while and decided to walk around the mall while we waited for it to start. Well, we would have been waiting all night b/c we found the real talking fountain a little ways down the mall.

Image We stayed at the MGM Grand. It was sure grand!
Image Of course we had to dine at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. It was quite entertaining, and the burgers and boat drinks were great!

Our newest nephew

Here is the newest addition to the Stocker family. Alexander Charles Cornelius or just "Acorn" for short. He was 7lbs 2oz. and 19 inches long. Born on 1 Sept. 2007 at 11:51 pm. Carrie and Marc are so excited and my mom was able to make it up there in time for the delivery. The whole family is up there right now visiting, but we are stuck all the way across the country. We just left there too!
Image He must have known that the Aggies won, because
he is clearly giving us a touchdown sign

Image The proud parents moments after delivery.

Carrie will be happy to see this picture I'm sure.

ImageHere you can see his full head of black hair,

but it looks like it is already receding, like his daddy.

I've Been Tagged, Too!

I've been procrastinating b/c things like this take me forever. I love reading other people's but don't like doing them myself. Oh well, here it goes!

The Rules:
1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1. In middle school, I was kicked out of a basketball game for "bulldogging" or was it "bulldozing?" I don't remember. The reason the call was made was b/c I knocked over one of my own teammates. Wow! The refs you get at private school jr high games are top notch! Katie and I were way better than that when we were refs! :)

2. This weekend I went to Vegas for the first time to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Sunday night we went to see David Copperfield perform. Incredible! He came out into the audience and chose me and another girl to help him w/ an act. It was a trick that involved cards and a scorpion. Eek! So that answers the long time question of whether the people chosen out of the audience are people that work for him or not.

3. When I was 5, I was left at the condo while my family and the Jud's went to DisneyWorld. They almost got all the way to Epcot before realizing I wasn't there. Thanks, guys! I felt really special. The best part was that I went outside to see where everyone was and got locked out of the condo. A nice lady heard me crying and let me go to her condo while she called security. Hindsight, I guess I shouldn't have gone w/ her, but oh well it worked out. By the time security got there, my parents pulled up.

4. Our family is full of babies...not our's though! Travis and Sarah had Cooper 7/17, Carrie and Marc had Alexander 9/01, and Ross and Kim are going to have Shelby any day now! Yay! I love nieces and nephews, thus the family given name "PAK" (Psycho Aunt Kelsey). Psycho meaning I love to love them!

5. I was just hired today to be a photography assistant for a school photographer. It's just a seasonal job so that means I'll be unemployed again the middle of November, but hey, it's a start! I'm looking forward to it so hopefully it'll be fun. If not, it's only a couple of months!

6. I can wiggle my ears, without hands!

7. I am addicted to craig's list. For some reason, I have been missing out until I recently learned of it through one of my neighbors. I have already purchased 3 bar stools for $50. What a steal! :)

8. I donated my hair to Locks of Love last December. My mom wanted to grow her out and donate it, but I told her I would do it if she promised me she wouldn't.

I have been tagged

I have been tagged and since I am playing Mr. Mom today and don't have to be at work until noon (Labor Day Holiday), I have some time to compile eight amazing facts about myself. Sit down this is going to be CRAZY.

The Rules:

1. I was a fast learner as a child and mechanically inclined as well. I learned to run at age 9 months (apparently I was not much of a walker). My mom was working and I was playing by myself, probably with tupperware, and all of sudden she noticed it was very quiet and I was no longer with her. She ran around the house calling for me. She found me in her bathroom, where I had unscrewed a cabinet knob from the door and was about to swallow it. She was able to pry it from my mouth and I haven't tried eating any other household hardware since.

2. As most of you know I seem to have become accident prone over the last few years. On October 27, 2005 I cut my middle finger off my right hand in a tragic shark attack (I really dropped about 300 lbs. on it in a weightroom). On October 28, 2006 I dislocated my right elbow, again exercising for the Marine Corps. This year give me a call on October 29 just to make sure I am okay. I will be taking the day off work if possible.

3. Everyone better know that my birthday is Christmas Eve, but you may not know that a lot of my family was born very close to holidays. My mom was born on July 12 (farthest from holiday, July 4), my dad November 30 (usually a couple days from Thanksgiving), my sister October 29, my uncles October 31 and July 6, Kelsey...? (Sometime right after the New Year)...Just kiddin' January 4. Pretty wierd huh, you would think that would help me remember, but I still forget at least one a year.

4. I used to be afraid of clowns, now I just HATE them. They creep me out big time and I really don't know why anyone likes them. Mimes and Ronald McDonald count too, they are in the clown family.

5. Upon studying an atlas on our long drive from Virginia to California I realized that I have been to just over half of the states in our great country including: California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky (just driving through), Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Connecticut. Someday I will make them all.

6. Before I met Kelsey I had only been to one wedding in my whole life. Since I met Kelsey I have been to tons, I lost track around 8 or 9, including our own.

7. This should not come as much of a surprise, but I am the tallest Marine in my whole battalion, from what I hear. We are comprised of over 1000 Marines, so that is neat, but I get a lot of flack since AAVs are pretty tight inside the vehicle. Kelsey was uncomfortable and she is almost a foot shorter than me. I am also the most "boot" lieutenant (boot = youngest), which means I have the esteemed privlege of carrying a 1950's LVT (Landing Vehicle, Tracked) track block everywhere that all officer's are present. Think of a "track block" as link in a tank tread/track. It is solid steel and weighs about 20 lbs. I cant wait until someone new checks in and I get to pass it off.

8. Having been married to Kelsey for a whole year now I have come to realize that I am without a doubt the funniest man alive. For some strange reason she doesn't think that I should have my own TV show. She says she just laughs at everything, but I don't think that is the case. I'm pretty funny right? Seriously though, if anyone were see us in action by ourselves you would think we are the dumbest people on the planet, because we laugh at everything. Ex. on the way home yesterday, we switched personalities for about 20 minutes (I said Kelsey's thoughts out loud and she said what I was thinking out loud). We had to stop because she was laughing so hard she couldn't see to drive. Try it sometime, it was funny.

Ok, that is it I hope they were somewhat interesting/entertaining. Someone could tag KELSEY, but I aint gonna do it.
