Happy Birthday to me....we got a puppy!

Ask my mom...I have always loved dogs. I remember writing a Christmas list one year that said dog, dog, dog, dog in lots of different sizes and writing. Well, we decided that it was part of the american dream and broke down and got a dog! Oh my goodness we love her to death. She can be a little turd and acts a little like a toddler right now, but we love her. These first pictures are her as a puppy. Notice there isn't a lot....it wasn't easy to get her to hold still for a photo.

Fall colors!!!

I was so excited to see how our trees would turn. We picked flowering trees and grasses that would also change various colors in the fall. Our back yard has been so beautiful! Hard work paid off!

Halloween Trunk or Treat

Our ward was having their annual trunk or treat and Halloween chili cook-off so we decided to take Brooke and Phil's kids for the night and let them go out on a date! The kids don't look too stoked in the pictures,  but they had a total blast! They were so cute!

Campfire Nights

They family came to visit to help work on installing new wood floor for Brooke and Phil, so we decided to relax at night with a fire, smores, and amazing cobbler (made by Ben). Mmm! It was so much fun and the kids were adorable!

Home Coming Week @ Murtaugh 2011

Makayla was out of school for spud harvest so she decided to stay with us for the homecoming festivities. We had such a blast and were pooped by the end of the week! Festivities included: mud volleyball, a scavenger hunt, pep assembly, bonfire, community dinner, winning our footbll game 48-0 ( I think...or more!)
