the thirtytwo

well well well, what’s going on here? i’m blogging again, that’s whats happening.

I don’t know, i just felt the sudden urge to blog again, despite me neglecting by old blog since nov’07. and if i’m not mistaken, this is like the 4th blog that i’ve created, although i intend to keep this. now, why is the blog called thirtytwo, and the tagline; he who wears the thirtytwo. well, i’ve had this weird fascination with the number 32 since low secondary, and then i only realised notable footballers like christian vieri wore the same number, and most recently, carlos tevez, who has been my one of my favourite footballers, wore the number 32 at boca juniors, corinthians, west ham and now, to top it all off, now plays for my favourite team, the red devils, manchester united.

anyways, it’s been a good first four months of 2008 for me. I tried out for the monash football team this year again, and I made it through as a striker, and what other number for our jersey did i ask for?, obviously the number 32 lol. Even though the team didn’t make it through to the 2nd round of the MAPCU football, 1 win and 2 losses isn’t so bad, considering it was monash’s first win in four years in an official tournament. we beat taylors PJ 2-1, we actually were a goal down, i equalised with a free header and mo netted the winner towards the end of the game.

oh and last night we had a friendly with sunway, which we lost, considering our goalie didn’t show, and we had to reshuffle the squad around. one of the highlights for the game for me was my goal from outside the penalty box, as well as the run that led to joshua scoring his goal.

rachel, elaine, melissa, phillip, ken, were there to support us, as well as angie and lina who dropped by, thanks guys for showing up atleast u guys saw me score. not to mention i came close with a diving header that just only sailed wide, which resulted in me getting a fuckin mud bath. hahaha
