I am a self proclaimed amateur naturalist searching for beauty and utility in every crack in the pavement and abandoned lot. I seek out the mushrooms growing along the trees and fill up bowls of water daily for the birds and the feral cats, perhaps a possum or two.
I am an avid herbalist and an obsessive gardener. I believe in finding the medicine you need in what surrounds you whenever possible. For years I studied Western herbs, and then for many more years I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine’s vast pharmacopeia. Clearly studying herbs is a lifelong pursuit of mine.
I live in a city. A very hectic crazy city. Within the chaos you will find me searching for the bits of beauty and sanity that nature presents. I am hoping to connect with other makers, growers, observers, thinkers, list makers and seed collectors.
I have another blog over on my acupuncture website, if you want to check it out click here!
Thanks for looking,
Kristen Dilley

Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving a comment. I have recently become very interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine after spending the past 15 years studying herbs and their many uses. I look forward to following your blog and reading more. I am enjoying it already. 🙂

So happy I stumbled upon your site. Am always envious of people with green thumbs. I, myself, can’t grow weed. But am nonetheless inspired.
