Ricky's Surprise 80's Party

This year, Ricky turned the big 3-Oh. I wanted to do something special for him, so I decided to throw him a surprise party. As I was planning his party, I came up with the idea to make it a 80's themed surprise party (who doesn't like an excuse to dress up?) The party ended up being a success minus the moms that were at home with there kids since I planned it during General Young Women's conference. That was poor planning on my part. We missed them but we still managed to have a good time. Here are some pics from the party:

Visit with Santa

This year, we were surprised there was no crying from either of the girls when we went to see Santa. But Brooklyn wasn't too sure about the elf decor that was to the side of him. Maybe next year we will be able to get a smile out of both of our girls when they go to see Santa.

Brooklyn=Mess

A few weeks ago, Brooklyn thought it would be fun to play with a whole cube of butter. Here is the mess that I found. She thought it would be fun to put the butter in her pretend frosting container. It looks like she had fun.

Bangs

I have decided that it's finally time to grow out Brooklyn's bangs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to style her hair in the mean time?

Picking out pumpkins

Brooklyn is at a really fun age right now where she gets really excited about doing things. She was so excited to pick out her pumpkin. I love watching her get so excited about things.
