Christmas 2010
What a crazy year this has been. This year the kids wrote Santa letters. Kade asked for an elf outfit and didn't get it. Blake tlod him it was because Santa had too many elves already. He got a bike but was mad because Courtney and Dylan got Camp Chairs and he didn't. How funny. Kade also got boxing gloves and a bag. I hope he uses it and not his siblings. Courtney wanted alot of zhu-zhu stuff and got two hamsters and a starter kit for them to run in. Dylan did tear a few presents open but was so use to us saying no that he didn't want to. Here are some pictures of them in their Christmas Sunday clothes and Pjs.

Courtney's friend birthday party
Sorry for two posts in one day, but thought I better show some pictures of Courtney's party, too. She had a couple of girls over after her birthday and they had tons of fun. One hour is not long enough for a party. First we made fun bread sticks.
Then the girls had a craft time with foam pieces. They made lots of fun things. The pile was a mess so they had to look to find the letters or decorations thye wanted.
Then we sang Happy Birthday and ate our cake and bread sticks.
This is the whole group.
My boy is one
My baby is now one. We had a small birthday dinner with grandparents. This is what his cakes looked like.
This is what the little blue bear ended up like....
He needed lots of help opening presents and he still didn't want to open them. Just let me play. We ate macaroni and cheese for dinner because he has no teeth. He is walking a little now.

LONG OVER DUE POST
Blake and I Just gave ourselves our first Christmas present. A New computer and I can update from home again. Sorry it has been so long Here is what we have done lately.
For some reason Courtney wanted to hide her face under her hat for all of Halloween Pictures.
This is Her cake for her eighth birthday. She was Baptized Sunday and We took the cake to the church and celebrated there. Thanks everyone.
Last Night was Family reading Night at the library. I got to take the kids and didn't have to work. They were so happy to sit on Curious George's lap that I had to take one picture with both and one of each of them alone. So Funny.
Dylan stayed home with dad. He is starting to walk around. He will be one in 7 days.

Silly String
So I am finally using a Christmas present for the 4th of July. I think that the kids had more fun with it now then they would of then. Thanks Cami. I never would of bought it myself.
What a fun 4th of July. We went to Logan on Friday and at home on Saturday. Sunday we had a baby blessing. As you can see we got to spend alot of time with family. Blake also got a new hobby. On Friday and Sunday he went catfishing and caught some fish.

In the picture of Courtney and Melissa by the ditch it show how much fun the kids had. They decided that it would be fun to catch snails. They caught tons of them and had so much fun. They were soaked and dirtty but happy. Courtney and Kade love the parades. It was so funny to see Kade had out things to throw ata the clowns. There happened to not be any clowns. What a Kid. Dylan didn't know what to think of the Fireworks. He was happy to be on the ground.

Montana
Blake had class in Billings, Montana and so we took the kids and called it a vacation. We took Courtney out of school for the week and went. First problem the map told us to go through the south entrance of Yellowstone and it was closed until Friday. That added an hour and a half to the trip that we didn't expect. We got to the Motel at 10:30 P.M. What a late and long drive. Dylan hated the car ride after we were done that first day. He would just sit and scream. Now time for some pictures:
This is the view out of our motel window.
This is the kids in front of the fish tank in Cabela's. The fish would swim right up to the glass when the kids would get close.
The kids loved the pool. It was called a play land. There were two slides and the logs to ride on like Kade is doing. Dylan even loved the cold water.
More Pictures of the pool.
One day after Blake's classes were done we took the kids to the temple there. What a small and pretty temple. Loved the big stained glass window.
I will see if I can get a better picture of the window. My camera is not working right now. There is most of the trip. It was fun. We also went to the Zoo, but there wasn't much to take pictures of. It was mostly a lot of gardens and sitting places. The kids liked the playground and when the tiger came right up to the glass.

Last sunday was Easter. It was a busy day. We had dinner with my mom and then it was on to Andrea and Scott's for an egg hunt and dinner. The kids loved it. Monday morning we woke up to this:
The Saturday before should have been the city easter egg hunt, but it was so cold and snowing that they cancelled it. It was rescheduled for the 10th so we took the kids. Don't they look thrilled?

Month full of birthdays.
Kade turned four on the 17th. I was making him a guitar cake and tryed to take it out of the pan. It came out but all in pieces. This is what it end up like.
I helped with the 17th of March birthday party for church by mading this cake and it didn't fall over.
Then came my birthday and my sweet husband gave me these flowers, but he had them delivered to work for me. Then the kids took me out to Artic Circle for dinner. No dishes!!!!
Dylan turned four months old on my birthday. He is starting to really change. All of a sudden he doesn't want to sleep all night and I feel like he eats all the time. Naps are 20-30 minutes long.
FOUR MONTH STATS:
HEIGHT: 2 FEET
WEIGHT: 13 POUNDS 8 OUNCES
HEAD: 16 1/2 INCHES
On the 31st of March we tried cereal for the first time. This is what he thought of that:
Cami was home for a couple of weeks and even though we couldn't get a family picture we got some of all the grand kids. What a challenge it was to get seven kids to all look in the same direction.
Last for the month I got to take my three kids to the library for an easter egg hunt. Wow I can't believe that Easter is really already here. I am so not ready, but i am ready for spring to come.

I am slow at this update but we will see if I can catch up. Courtney did Jr. Cheerleading this year and she liked it. She also had a valentines party but it was called a manners tea. She did dances with a partner and then they ate cake as a class. They still had to sit with their dance partner. It was cute and she did great. Here are some pictures of Courtney.

Then this is what my car looks like after someone t-boned me taking Courtney to school one day.
