Just the Boys
First up: Hoover tower.
I know, in a rational sort of way, that Max can't possibly fit through the bars. And I also comforted myself with the fact that there is a quite convenient ledge only ten feet down that would catch him should he choose somehow to squeeze himself through the bards.
But still. Nervous.
A little cheesy, but this is how I see these boys attacking life. Together. No fear.
Next: the Mausoleum. Or Sarcophagus. Or whatever it's called where the Stanford's are buried. Very picturesque little route.
After that: Off to the cactus garden. Turns out cacti can be quite beautiful.
Post-cactus: exploring what feels like a medieval forest that in an earlier age we'd be executed for hunting on. But today -- climbing trees.
And sitting in holes. There may or may not be some sort of animal hole at the base of that stump. It could be some sort of ferocious racoon, or Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, but whatever it is, my money is on Max.
Finally: Smelling flowers. We may have destroyed some (many) of them.

Will the Skateboarder . . . Or Thug?
I don't think there is anything wrong with looking a little tough. After all, you've got to get them ready for high school sometime. And I spent a fair amount of time on skateboards and throwing rocks at other kids in the canals in SoCal.
Wait.
No, that's all wrong.
This is just a cute hat that Will is sporting -- brought it back from the awesome trip to Alaska. Next time, the boys come with.

Brothers
Our two boys having a blast together. I'll let them fill out the reminder of this post.
Will: Me and Max playing in the basket. Max is really funny. And also I think sometimes I say blah-blah-blah.

Just a Little Snack
Max, like me, is a big snacker. I guess this behavior is more socially acceptable for toddlers than adults (although I am still a graduate student, so...). He also eats off the floor from time to time. It's not that he prefers it, necessarily, over a table. The floor is just more convenient sometimes.
