Max Walking

Dancing Machine

One of the greatest gifts Max received for Christmas was a little grey elephant that sings "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" and wags its ears.  At first, to be honest, I think he was a little terrified.  But now -- it's a genuine source of inspiration (and maybe a little bit of fear).

Krispy Kreme, Meet Max

This may be the first meeting between Max and Krispy Kreme, though it won't be the last. (But what's the deal with the Mountain View Krispy Kreme not giving away free hot 'n fresh donuts?).

It looks cute enough in the pictures, but honestly the boy was practically glazed by the time he got home. And his car seat...well...it was already pretty gross to begin with.

Zen Master of Tire Swing

Image
Will has been eying the tire swing for a while now. We've tried it out a few times, but it was a little too big until just the other day when he tried it out and decided he loved it. It's this great swing that's only about 30 feet from our door. I'm not sure who put it up, but whoever it is replaces the rope from time to time and I can't believe Stanford lets it stay up despite the obvious hospital trips that will ensue. Hopefully it will still be there for Max (of course, hopefully we won't still be in school).

Summer + Sun = Rolling Down Hills

The video pretty much says it all -- rolling down the hills in the fading summer sun. We're pretty lucky to have a nice, manicured hill in our courtyard to practice.
