Dada-day

God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it ... Dad. Happy Father's Day, dadda!

Earthworm and years.

It was only yesterday that I decided to play in the rain atleast once before monsoon ends and today I get a chance. On my way to the mall, just as I stepped out of my house, I saw some earthworms in the muddy water nearby. I recalled those days as kids when we used to catch earthworms. I used to pick and stuff them into my friend's shirt. It was fun and I used to just love getting wet in the rains. And now being in the rain is the last thing I would ever want to do. Back to present, on the pretext of fixing the strap of my floaters, I picked up one earthworm. eewww.....It was soo slimy. yuck! I walked a bit further with that creeper thing in hand and left it in mucky mud water. Moreover, Mum was yelling at me for doing such a thing :P Right now as I write this, I wonder how did things change. It is the same slimy earthworm I used to enjoy catching some 12 years back and now I can't stand its sight. You know, when I caught that earthworm and mum yelled, I actually felt like a 9 ...

The aRt Side

The last time I saw a 6B pencil was probably when I was 15. After that, all I remember is sitting in front of a computer and doing what half of the population does. Today, I dedicate this Sketch to Dave Sir. He was the one who taught me what it means to put your soul onto a paper. I lost contact with him once I stepped into engineering, but I will always remember him as my "Inspiration". He always wanted me to do something great in this field but... chalega!
