Thomas Show
This happened back in April, but as usual, I'm way behind. Such a cute little group of wild boys!

Soccer Spring 2011
I think he's had fun so far this year in soccer. He isn't very aggressive so he just pretty much runs behind the pack, but at least he's in there and getting exercise as well as learning the game. That's all I really want. I wish I had been at his game this past Saturday. I don't know if he was showing off because his Uncle Chris and his Grandma were there, but he actually stole the ball and dribbled it down the field to score a goal! He scored one ealier in the game, but I hear it was for the wrong team...which I'm perfectly fine with. Just happy he kicked it!

Family Birthday Party
Sam's 5th Birthday Party
Listening to everyone sing Happy Birthday! He was so funny!
Everyone loving the pool!
Sam and Daddy
Sam claims that this was his best party ever and I tend to agree! The kids were loving the pool in January. We had the party at the Boys & Girls Club in Fayetteville and they had such a fun time. Obviously, the theme was Phineus & Ferb - we had to have a Summer Vacation theme since we were swimming! Plus, it's Sam's favorite show :)

Happy Birthday Sam!
I can't believe my little guy is five today! It just doesn't seem possible. He was just a baby not that long ago. Now he's a smart (and smart mouthed), happy, hyper little five year old. While he certainly knows how to push our buttons and does very often, he is generally a very sweet boy. I just don't know what I'd do without him! He makes me laugh all the time...sometimes I just can't believe some of the things he says.
He is still very into Thomas the train. I really thought he'd be over that by now, but he is still loving it. He still asks for new trains and plays with his set constantly while also watching the movies. I'm kind of ready for him to move on to something else, but then again, Thomas is educational and fun. He picks up quite the vocabulary from the Thomas movies! So funny when he tells me we are "chuffing" to the store or that he was "chittering and chattering" (or something like that) across the snow the other day.
I am trying to keep him in soccer in the spring even though he really isn't too interested. I'm not sure if his interest will develop or if he'll just be one of those boys who isn't that interested in sports. I'm ok with that if he is, although I'm sure Tim would love it if he'd sit and watch football with him! So hopefully he'll develop at least a little bit of interest. I hope to sign him up for T-ball this Spring too. Then maybe golf or tennis lessons and possibly swim team at FAC if he isn't interested in playing T-ball or soccer anymore.
He is still a very picky eater and just doesn't really have that much interest in eating at all unless it's junk...which I don't give him much of so I'm constantly worried that he's hungry. Of course the dr always says that he'll eat when he's hungry and not to worry about it. So I try not too! He's actually done really well lately at trying the new foods I've given him (trying to get him to eat what I cook for dinner instead of something different). Maybe it's the 5 year old effect ;)
He is going to school 3 days a week and loves it. Some days he says he can't wait for Kindergarten and other days he says it's too much work and he doesn't want to go. Ha! I will be a mess when he does go though!
I will post pictures from his birthday parties soon! Happy Birthday Little Man! We love you sooooo much!!!
