Oh Colby...

So here is a video of the Colbster in all his glory! He is throwing a fit, I think because he wanted us to pick him up or something. The funny thing about the video is he is totally faking! You can see him rolling around in all his misery, but checking every few seconds to make sure we are still watching, then you can see everytime he passes a toy he debates whether to stop and play with it or to continue his fit...Oh Colby...! Enjoy!!

We went up the canyon one day and had Shana take some Family Pictures for us. Even though the leaves were pretty much done changing, I think we got some good ones! Thanks Shana!

We went to get our pumpkins and thought we would try to take some pictures of Colby, he wasn't too sure about that! :)

For the Pyne Family Halloween Party we were a family of Cowboys.

We went to a pumpkin patch with the cousins and took some pictures.

Troy and I had a few Halloween parties, this one we dressed as Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

He has been LOVING to drink out of his sippy cup!

AND, in case you were wondering how much the Colbster LOVES his food...watch this. (this is the reaction we get everytime we put him in his chair to eat!!) (oh, and, he isn't starving, he just finished his bottle...)

The Summer is over!

So...We are back! It was a long summer! For the month of August, Colby and I were in Bakersfield with the Whitezell's, while Troy did extended sales in Boston. We missed him a ton! While he was gone, Colby got two teeth, decided he absolutely LOVES baby food, and figured out how to roll over onto his tummy!! As you can see...Colby didn't mind hangin' out with the guys while he was there. He really got attatched to Papa! Finally one of the grandkids prefers him over Grandma! Colby was sooo excited to have his Daddy back!

Uncle Tyler came home from Russia!
We came back to Utah and Colby got re-introduced to the Pyne's...

We went Camping...
and cuddled in our sleeping bag...

We enjoyed the outdoors!

We looked at the pretty trees and fire!

We are glad to be back to the normal life...until next summer!

Colby's new Toy!!

We got Colby a new toy! It took him a little bit to figure it out, but he's decided that he LOVES it now!!

When I take pictures, I say "Boo!" to get the Colbster to smile...Well I need to think of something else to say now, cuz this is what I get!! :) (cute, but not quite the smile I was looking for)

He's even managed to make a friend to play with while in his toy!...His reflection!!

He plays so hard, bless his little heart. He fell asleep in his toy the other day!

I always have to go check on him a little after he falls asleep because he lays his puppy out across his face (I think to block out the light), after I move it off, this is what I find (pretty much every time)! :)

Updates!!

Our week with the Pyne's

Troy's parents came out t0 visit us a couple weeks ago. We had a lot of fun, until everyone got the flu :( I felt bad, Colby wasn't his normal cheerful self for Grandma and Grandpa (he was still happy, just not as much as normal, but then would you be if you had to change your clothes everytime you had your diaper changed and your bum was all rashy and red?...poor little guy) That's where it all started...with the Colbster, then I got it, then Roger, and on the last day Chris was feeling pretty sick and so was Troy. Sorry guys!
We were still able to do a few things though, I took them up to Santa Barbara on Friday, they got to eat some fresh fish and see some of the sites there. Saturday they had to show themselves around cause that's the day I was sick with Colby.
Sunday we went down to the Long Beach Aquarium. It was a lot of fun :) I love aquariums. (I didn't want to actually touch anything since I was always retrieving Colby's binki and toys...germs!)
Colby loved the fish. You wouldn't think a little guy would even be interested, but he was :) That is, between the times he was finding what else he could reach to put in his mouth. It's his new "trick"

We ate lunch at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co. . It was way good! I couldn't finish mine, maybe shrimp was a little too aggressive on my first day feeling better.

That's ok, Troy was nice enough to finish it for me!

MAGIC MOUNTAIN

Troy and I got to go to Magic Mountain this last Sunday with some of our friends that are out here with us. I drove out to Bakersfield Saturday so that my parents could watch Colby. He was finally getting over his flu bug, so they agreed to watch him. ( he had it for a total of ten days!!) We had a lot of fun! We went on as many rides as we could, until we were too tired to walk another minute!

Troy won this awesome bear at some shooting contest thing they had there. It was our souvenir for Colby :) What a lucky boy!!

...So you probably noticed I didn't have any pictures of the 4th. Well that's because I don't. I was too busy changing blow outs to get any pictures. We had fun though. I went to a breakfast with my friends Trudi and Kelli at Trudi's Aunt's ward. Then we had a bbq that evening with the office. Unfortunately we didn't get to watch any fireworks...Colby was on his 4th outfit of the day and we decided it would be better if we just stayed home and hung out. There's always next year!!
