So, life has gotten away from me again and I haven’t updated this blog in way too long. I won’t even bother trying to catch everything up, so here is where we are:
Cade is 5 and is in Kindergarten. He LOVES it. He has such a great teacher and really enjoys learning. His teacher is always singing his praises and it makes Matt and me so proud. Cade played soccer in the fall along with Reid. He is thrilled to be playing t-ball this Spring! We are going to try out Tomball Little League this time. Cade still loves anything related to sports and it seems that he is usually playing basketball in the playroom, playing his football game on the Leapster, tossing a ball in the house, playing sports on the Wii, throwing the football outside or watching recorded sports games on the TV. I love seeing the excitement he has for sports and watching him try to learn the ins and outs of each sport.
Reid is 3 and his imagination has continued to grow. He is often in his own magical place. I love seeing the things he creates or listening to the way he plays with his toys. His attention to detail is quite amazing. Reid still loves to build, whether it is with tools outside, blocks or Legos. He is at MDO 2 days a week and is doing great. He loves his friends and often points out things his friends would like when we are out shopping. Reid is such a funny little guy who is always making us laugh. His “Reid hugs” are a treat and I love his sweet smile.
Aubrey is 9 months old now and she such a happy, easy going little baby. She is a daddy’s girl and loves watching and playing with her crazy brothers. She plays peek-a-boo and loves to give kisses. Aubrey is at the verge of so many milestones. Just this week she started clapping and she is so close to crawling and pulling up on things. Aubrey’s teeth are taking their sweet time to come in, so right now we are just hoping she has a few by the time she turns 1!
Matt still works for Champion Technologies, but now works at their corporate office. He loves his new position for many reasons, but one is that he doesn’t have to drive to Pearland everyday anymore! The kids can’t wait for him to come home every day so they can play. The kids keep Matt pretty busy and he is such a wonderful dad.
I still work at Mom’s Day Out with the 4 year olds 2 days a week. I have such a fun class this year! I am also a Director with Thirty-One gifts. I love being able to get out of the house and have some girl time while helping with finances at the same time. I have met some amazing ladies and I am excited at what this year will bring. Being able to stay home with the kids has been such a blessing. Though I sometimes have frustrating days at home with the kids, I really try to appreciate these moments because I know it won’t be long before they are all in school and life will bring a whole new set of challenges.
I was going to organize these pictures, but they keep messing up. So, here are a few pictures in random order! :)
Aubrey loves bathtime! She has learned how to splash....which is fun for her!

Christmas Eve

Aubrey watching Cade play his Leapster

Aubrey has found her box of toys and LOVES to dig in it! Reid is a great big brother and plays so sweet with Aubrey.

Halloween. Cade is a football player (not surprised) and Reid is a pirate. He is still into pirates, swords and hunting (his 2nd choice for his Halloween costume, but we already had this one in the dress up tub! ).

Cade made the awards wall at school!

Cade was serious about soccer this year. It's amazing to me how much kids his age advanced in their skills over the past year.
Me with some of my Thirty-One girls at our Spring Product Premiere!
Reid was goalie some during soccer. He really just played around until we told him to pretend to be a pirate and not let the ball pass him. So, here he is as the pirate goalie.
My happy little girl after her bath.
I'm not kidding ya'll....she is so easy going.
Christmas Eve
Reid. I love his eyes and sweet smile.
My big man, Cade.

Our happy (and very cold in this picture) little family.
