Happy Thanksgiving
As many of you know, I teach 4 year olds at Mom's Day Out. We have memory verses for the kiddos and they get a treat if they can recite it back to us. Our memory verse this week was "Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, His love endures forever." Psalm 136:1 Well, my favorite response was from a little boy. His version of the verse went like this: Give thanks to the Lord for he is indoors forever! I got a good laugh and I hope you did too! I hope ya'll have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Reid's 9 months old!
Reid is 9 months old today! It seems he is doing new things all the time. He loves to pull up on anything and everything. I actually caught him the other day pulling himself up using the wall! He walks around once he's up and has finally figured out how to get back down without falling. Reid still army crawls the majority of the time, but he is starting to crawl up on his hands and knees a little more. Reid loves to say dada. Today it almost sounded like he knew what he was saying. Matt was walking out of the room and Reid looked right at him and yelled "dada"! Reid is taking a bottle all day now and he is doing really well. I am glad I was able to nurse for as long as I could. Reid loves Cheerios and is starting to feed them to himself. He only has two teeth to eat with so far, but those top two teeth are making their way down. Reid finally got over his ear infection that lasted almost two months. He was such a trooper. Reid loves to play with doors and has even closed himself in a room a time or two! He still loves playing with Cade and would much rather take his toys away than to play with his own! I love to watch them play together and listen to them laugh at each other. Reid is such a sweet little boy who gives the best hugs. I know that sounds silly, but he really does. He makes me so happy and I am cautiously looking forward to what's next.

fall festival
Here are some pictures from the fall festival up at church.
my little fireman and dalmatian

Cade was a big hit over at the fire truck. Everyone was amazed at how real his costume looked!

I don't know why, but this picture makes me laugh. The look on Cade's face says it all........

All the kids were dancing on the dance floor (yes people...Baptist church and a dance floor!) while listening to the music. Cade just stood in amazement and watched the band. My sweet boy really loves listening to music.

Cade and his buddy Keegan and Michelle. Keegan was the cutest scarecrow!

Maci looked so pretty. I can't believe I didn't get one picture of princess Payton!

Cade like the games. He was throwing the banana to the monkey, or curious george as he said. However, once he learned that he got a sucker after playing the games he pretty much just went up to peoples buckets and got the sucker....no need for the game. He's a boy who knows what he wants!

Kira....look at those eyes!

sweet little Isabelle.

Addyson, Kira and Kai. Kai was Abe Lincoln. By the way....that kid is smart! He knows all the presidents and what number they are! If you ask who was #10, he knows! Someone call David Letterman!
sweet little Isabelle.
Cade was a pro at this little game. That rubber mallet was pretty heavy for a 2 year old and he picked it up, swung it behind his head and then whacked it right on the target! I was very impressed.
Cade and his buddy, Drew. Can you tell Cade is getting over his milk allergy?? Nice Cheetos face, huh?
Cade kept his eye on the pool (aka the dunking booth) all night. He thought it was great when the man fell in. By the way, kudos to our youth minister who had such a great attitude about falling in the water hundreds of times that night. Anyway, I decided I would take Cade over to the dunking booth to let him throw the ball at the target. That was a bad mistake. I should have gone earlier. The ground was all mushy and muddy from water being splashed out. The balls were all yucky, too. It was worth it though when the man (as Cade called him) fell in the water. Cade got so excited!
