Arguably one of the best parts of having a family is starting traditions.
Last year with the help of my friend and Rylie's favorite person ever, Erin (who's name means Ireland), we began the St. Patty's Day breakfast-for-dinner green meal. This year, back by popular demand I brought out the green food coloring and began making a rare treat in this house-- breakfast!
Per Toby's gentle suggestion, we went with green pancakes as opposed to last year's green eggs (I guess green eggs aren't really that good- who knew??) and had the added bonus of getting to celebrate Reagan's half birthday! That's right, each year this Irish lassie will get to ring in her half birthday in shades of forrest, lime and olive. How lucky can Reagan, or Ree-gan as a true Irishman would say, be?
The four leaf clover pancake that looked more like an upside down butterfly. BTW- three leaf clover pancakes are no problem, it's that extra magical leaf that makes it tough! Any masters out there??
