Bath time!  This kid LOVES his bath.
Jacob is 19 months old as of yesterday and is keeping his dad and I as happy as can be.  He's starting to say ball, which sounds more like "bah", and shoe.  He still refused to say mom even though I know he can say it, little stinker.  Every time I try to get him to say it he just gives me this smirky smile like he knows exactly what he's doing.  He's getting so big and seems so mature.  I hate that he's growing so fast but he just keeps getting funner.

Trying to get a good picture of this kid is impossible, well for me at least.  He just refuses to stop for a second.

Playing ring around the Rosie or "Come here and let mom take your picture!"

J's finally letting me put a hat on him!  He'll even keep it on when we're outside and in the car.
I think he looks so grown up in these pictures!  Tear!

17 and 18 months old. :)

This is Jacob's "devil child" face.  He's so much fun!
Not too much has been happening lately around here so here's just some fun pictures of our lives.

Helping dad vacuum the living room.  Please don't look at how messy my living room is here!

King of the castle!

Like father, like son.

17 months old.  We've started measuring J every month and I'm amazed at how much he grows in such a short time.  My baby's getting so big!

I was making bread one day and came in to find J standing on his stool and eating the dough off the spoon.  So funny!  He's definitely my son when it comes to eating.  Poor kid.

18 Months Old!  He has a ton of eating pictures because it's the only time I can get him to sit still.

My little boy is growing like a weed.

Love that smile.

I think this is such a cool picture with the football whizzing through the air towards the camera.  Tom's so proud that J has great form, grabs the laces of the football and throws a beautiful spiral.  Jacob LOVES balls of any size, shape and color.  He pretty much thinks anything can be a thrown like a ball which can be very dangerous to expensive household items.
Jacob doesn't have a whole lot to say yet.  He says dad, which thrills Tom of course, but that's about it.  Every day when Tom comes home from work J screams "dad" and runs toward the door.  I don't think a little boy could love his dad more.
He signs "please" and "more".
He thinks he's so smart because he can turn the TV on.  He'll go press the button and then clap for himself like he's so amazing.  This pretty much means that it's a battle between mom and Jacob all day...J turns the TV on, mom turns it off, etc.  Last night he turned it on and then came over to where I was sitting next to the DVD remote, took the remote, pressed the play button turning on the movie inside and then sat on the floor w/ his snacks to enjoy.  Tom and I just looked at each other in awe..."Our kid is amazing"! :)  I think it was just luck that he did that but I'm not quite sure.
