Christmas Idea House

This is the tree skirt I made for Christmas Idea House this year.    We are talking burlap, silk, velvet, lace, printed muslin.  This is a 90" , 5 lb. skirt of ruffly goodness!  So worth the time knowing this will help a student get a scholarship!  It's gonna be a good one!  Come check it out.  This skirt will be in the living room under a gorgeous tree.  The house this year is located in Queen Creek at the Pecans and is amazing as always.  December 1st - 3rd.  I have $5 tickets if you want to go!  They are $10 at the door.

The State Fair Frock Grosgrain Giveaway

What have I not been blogging about? Well for starters Ashlyn starting first grade, Halloween, Ashlyn turning 7, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Cody's birthday, Going to Cornville....you heard me Cornville and it was fantastic, the best group of friends any girl could wish for and their awsome support, and a hundred other little hightlights over the past 5 months. I should post pictures and maybe someday I might...or not.

But for now, the big news is that we are blessed with the opportunity to move back into our old house next week. Glad it didnt sell in May. So now the only thing changing is the house and address and not school, ward, and friends. I have also undertaken to put myself in sugar rehab. I am 5 days sober now and I havent bitten anyones head off. That said, life is sweet!
