christmas time is here!

we always start decorating for christmas the week after thanksgiving! we have so much we want to display that we want to get as much use out of it as possible! these are a few pics from early december.

eeeek! this is the best time of the year... by far our favorite!

december is always full of christmas parties and get togethers, fun movie nights, baking treats and lots of time spend with family and friends!!

the boys and i went to a family reunion in mississippi with mom! i haven't seen my great aunts/uncles/distant cousins in YEARS! it was fun taking the kids and showing them off... but it was also cool to tell them when i was little, i played under that same huge tree in the front yard! :)

Bunk Beds

as the boys get older, they get more stuff! their room was pretty crowded with a crib and a toddler bed. so we took the plunge and went for bunk beds! :) they are so cute and the boys LOVE them!!

they boys quickly adjusted and now we have way more room for toys!! good thing... since christmas is just around the corner! :)

 this halloween, i found a super cute and cheap costume luc wanted to be a ninja. so ninja he was! doesn't he look so sneaky in the pics? love it!!

and trace... well he was the red power ranger. muscles and all!! perfect choice!!

 we always love the fall festival each year... i don't have many pics, just like i mentioned in the last post, i usually just have my iphone. but i got pics of all the cousins except kenley. :( i've got to do better about taking pics!!

and... as tradtion, i dressed up at work. this year, nate wouldn't let me spend any money (which is a good rule for sure!) so i found some stuff in the closet and tada, i'm a cowgirl! ;)

halloween night, we all went to josh and shannon's... chili for dinner then candy candy candy! always a fun, crazy, wild, chaotic, sugar filled nite!!

 what's a beach trip without family pics?! i'm so thankful my sis took her good camera... these days, i hardly ever remember mine b/c i always just use my iphone! anyways, i love love love the way they all turned out. enjoy :)

we had the chance to take another beach trip in early october... this time with family! shannon was already there for a conference, and secured us an amazing place that we've been blessed to stay at before! my parents took a few kiddos early in the week, then trace caught a ride down thursday nite with caden and uncle josh... that means he skipped school on friday! :) he thought that was pretty cool! nate and i drove up after we worked a half day friday. the weather on saturday was perfect... exactly how you want it if you only have 1 day at the beach! we stayed on the bay, so we also had fun fishing off the pier! def blessed to spend time with family in one of our most fav places!
