His new Ride video

Porter LOVES his new car. He just sits in it and talked and makes car sounds. I'm not sure where he learned how to do those!

The Farmer in the Dell video

He has this magnetic toy on our fridge which he loves to play with and dance to the songs. He also "hides" some of the parts behind the fridge:)

Reading Books!

Porter loves to read his books each day! He has also learned how to defend himself from Billy's licking!!!

15 Months Old and WCE

Well I have been bad about posting recently! Our little guy turned 15 months old last week. He continues to be so much fun for us. Here are a few of his highlights:
- He is a milk drinking fool. He absolutely loves a casual bottle in the morning but then he drinks out of sippy cups the rest of the day. He still has a night time bottle. We have finally cut out the 10 pm bottle and he is sleeping fine.

-He loves Mac and cheese and grilled cheese. Still a picky eater but he does like to eat. Breakfast is usually bananas, waffle, pears. Lunch is a PB sandwich or grilled cheese. We try to give him veggies which he usually feeds to Billy. Dinner is usually a noodle dish with fruit or veggies. Since he refuses veggies I puree them and add them to his sauce.

- He is walking and running (usually away from us so we will chase him). He loves swings and slides. Yesterday he crawled up a toy structure, sat himself down, and pushed himself down the slide. Trevor was at the bottom to catch up. He did this about five times in a row. He loved it!!!

- He is sleeping well. He had a 5:30am stint but he now wakes up around 6 - 6:30am. I usually let him play with his toys until close to 7am (when ideally I'd like him to get up). Trevor likes to get him earlier.

- Favorite toys: We bought him a red crazy coupe car that he can ride in! He also loves this mini toy structure that is currently in our house. He can climb up and slide down, it's only 1-2 feed high. He also loves a big red wagon from my parents. And his library is one of his favorite still. He is starting to sit through books better.

- Words, hmmm . . . We are a little slow on words. He can say uh-oh appropriately. He can say dada and "dadadadada". He has said it appropriately to Trevor a couple times but often he just says it. Nothing else yet.

- Friends: Billy, Jack our cat and any 2-3 year old kid. He likes to stand really close to them to see if they notice him. He is not into babies either, he just ignores them.

Well-Child exam: We had our 15 month well child exam yesterday. He is 31 inches long (50%), 23.5 lbs (40%), and 47cm head circumference (65%). All in all, pretty proportional guy who is growing well. He likes seeing the staff but getting weighed, measured and the two shots were not his favorite. He is behind a little in a few things, mainly vocabularly and waving goodbye. So are goal until the next exam is to boost his vocabularly. I think he'll start saying a lot more words very soon.

Wow, time flies! We have had a busy couple weeks. Our little guys continues to keep us very busy. Now that he is walking and running everywhere, we are nonstop all day. He still takes an nap for 1-2 hours but we have EARLY mornings (often 5:30am) and fun-filled days! Here are some pictures:
