Happy Halloween!

We had a Hallow-Green parade at the school yesterday on October 30th.  The "green" is for Costa Verde's eco-friendly commitment so we were supposed to make costumes or use recycled costumes.  This was not an easy task since I am not very artistic plus there are no craft stores like Michael's in town.  I found some masks online and we did our best.

The parade consisted of each class walking down the outdoor area and then they stood in a circle and each costume group (animals, superheroes, witches, etc) were called in the center to dance.  The boys danced together which was cute.  Porter was more into it than Cooper.

Later that day we went back for a special Kinder 1 performance with Cooper's class.  His teacher, Miss Angelica, dressed them all as skeletons and they did a halloween dance and song. It was very cute!
