I'm a Pumpkin Fool

MMMMM.....I love me some pumpkin yummy.  I found the best thing ever at Sam's.  This!!!

 It comes with three packages of baking mix.  You can make muffins, pancakes, cookies, or a loaf of bread. 

 It only takes a few min to put together...but I had a little time because this one was ready for nap!  He can fall asleep anywhere.  If he's tired, he'll let ya know it...he doesn't fight it.  Matt says he definatley my child because he walks around saying "I'm tired" in a whiney voice.

 And Hayes tortured Bo kitty while chewing on kitchen utensils.

 I found the cutest cupcake wrappers at TJ the other day.  Bought several different ones....why wait for a party I say!

If you are really feeling the pumpkin...then make a cup of this too!!  Pop in keurig and voilaa!!  No starbucks run needed!  I'm going to try the pancakes tomorrow!! 

Boys Will Play

 Here are some pics from last weekend of the boys in action.  I found a new Thomas the Train set at a garage sale for super cheap.  Trev is big into trains so he was pumped.  Looks like Hayes is into trains too.  He kept crawling over and tearing up the track.  Trenton is pissed in this picutre.

 Hayes loves playing in Trevors room.  We forget about all the age appropriate toys sometimes!  He is used to playing with big boy toys.  His favorite..the night light!

 Trevor never wants to get out of his crib after nap.  So we usually just move the party in there!  I asked if it was ok if Hayes came in.  I was suprised he said yes....he's still not too sure about him (you know since he took his place).

 Yeah!!!  Brothers crib is fun!!

And this is why he's not too sure about Hayes.  Hayes is ROUGH to put it nicely.  Lets just say my face was bleeding last week.  The boy can tear into you!  Trevor...not so rough.  This picture makes me laugh. 

What we've been up to (today :) )

The Turner family has been on my mind all week and made me really think about how much I take each day for granted with my kids.  I can't imagine what it must feel like to suddenly lose your husband (or just as bad..your child).  I stop and pray for Julee and her daughter Preslee whenever there is a chance.  Please pray for them.

I have pretty much put my camera down the last few months and have pretty much given up on blogging.  Well, I'm going to try and make a comeback... It's not fair to my kids (or myself) to miss these moments (even though they are not posed or may not be pretty).  I'm lugging my camera to all our regular places and taking pics of theses short stages in their lives...

Well here it goes..

Sweet Trevor with juice and paci.  On our way to cherry berry last night.  He LOVES his paci's.  Going to break that one soon. 

Hayes not as excited about cherry berry.  I gave him a little of mine and he acted like he was convulsing (in a bad way).  He loves all babyfood but not "regular" food.

Trenton excited in the elevator heading up to Cherry Berry.  We went to celebrate a good week at school.  He hasn't really had a bad report (well...one warning) but rewarding him every week seems to be working.

Then on Friday we headed bright and early to The Rolling Pin for breakfast.  We have gone pretty much every Thurs morning (Matt's day off) since Trenton was a wee tot.  We went Fri because Trenton was out of school (Matt took Fri off instead).  The girls who work there love watching the boys grow up...they are practically family to us. Since Trenton was little, he has always sat right down, opened a jelly pack, and went to town.  He's passed this tradition on to Trevor...it's just what they do.

OK RANDOM.....Found this pic...this is Trenton!!  OMGoodness look at my hair!!  BTW I'm a brunette/red now..  LOL.  I am always stuck uploading more than like 5 pics on here.  It just won't work...I picked UPLOAD from Picasso(a) Albums (I don't even know what that is) and it uploaded just fine.  I can't upload anymore from My Pictures.  Someone please text me and tell me what I'm doing wrong! Or comment...

 

Hayesie Love is 7Months!

I can't believe my little Haysie is 7months!  Well, not so little.  He's weighing in at about 23 lbs and is really long (I don't remember how many inches).  He is wearing a lot of 18 months clothes...which is what Trevor can still wear sometimes.  Trevor says, "Hey!!! That's mine!!"  when Hayes is wearing his clothes.  Here are some pics of our smiley guy--

Big boy is REALLY happy or REALLY pissed.  There is no inbetween with this guy. 

He loves all babyfood (can you tell?) and sleeps pretty good....sometimes wakes up to eat, but goes right back to sleep (yea for Mommy).

He has 6 teeth already and just this morning 2 more are "breaking through".   PIRANA!!  He started getting teeth at 3 months (older brothers started at 8mo. and 10 mo).  I have a feeling this guy is going to do a lot of things early.  He can stand pretty steady just holding 1 hand.

Hayes has been on 8 airplane rides.  My sister Michelle has always been my "assistant" when traveling.  We are getting pretty good.  We said we should write a book on how to fly with a baby.  We crack ourselves up with comments like "chapter 12, make sure you take off your cardigan before entering the plane with a sleeping baby in arms."  and "chapter 13, request a seat by the bathroom, nobody wants that seat and you may need it to escape to it quickly with a screaming child".   Let me know if you need any pointers anyone :)

I can sit up!!!!

But I still fall over...

 Playing with our newest family memeber, Bo the cat.  He is the best...I can't believe I would ever say that about a cat.  I would say we are "dog people" but he is great with the kids and they LOVE him. 

 

Kindergarten for Big T

Last Monday, my big boy went to Kindergarten!!  When I look back, it seems like just yesterday that I was taking care of a baby (well, I still am..his brother), but then again it also seems sooooo long ago that he was that little.  He has asked every morning for the last few weeks if it was "the day" to start K.

Here he is last month at Pre-K graduation.  The glasses were hilarious--he loved them of course.

It was a sad to think that he wouldn't be at this school anymore but he is there 2 days a week in the morning when Matt drops off the other boys and 3 days a week in the afternoon when I pick everyone up--he runs down to his old class and tells his teachers about his day. 

Meet Your Teacher night.  He was pretty ho hum about the whole thing.  Didn't seem nervous or super excited.  We met Mrs. Adams and Trenton requested a silly picture with her.  We walked around for a little bit to figure out how to get to his class from the front entrance.

until we walked into the cafeteria packed with kids.  This was his face until we left by the way.  Poor thing-he's not the big cheese in this school!

Nervous smile.  He was excited about going every morning after that so I think the nervousness went away.  He walked in by himself from the car on Thursday and Friday.  Seems so strange to do that!!
Looking forward to a fun year!!

Vacation

We are back from our annual family Destin trip!  It was great (because we had a lot of help from family) and the weather was perfect!  We got beachtime, pooltime, and shopping time!  My older sis flew with me and the babes (Trev and Hayes).  The hubby's drove with the "older kids".  Kind of works out better for my sis and I.  We try to make it sound bad so they complain too much :)

Here's Reagan tootie.  She is missing her 2 front teeth!  She just turned 7 and had a blast in the ocean.

Tyler is about to be 4 and LOVED the ocean.  He could sit for hours and let the waves knock him over.  He got knocked over backwards and went under a few times.  Didn't stop him!!

Oh little Trev Trev.  Unsure the first few min, but ended up liking the sand.  He liked for the water to come up on his feet...but not too far.  You can tell this is the first day because he's so white! 

Here's Trenton with the boogie board.  No big waves this year.  It was as smooth as the carribean some days!  It was shallow for a long way out so the kids could venture far.  He and Reagan pretty much stayed together and played.  I feel like I hardly interacted with him, I was a little preoccupied with little ones. 

Hayes had no opinion of the ocean.  He was pretty much pissed 75% of the vacation.  Someone decided it would be a good time to get teeth.  They broke through half way through the week.  Praise Jesus Matt's family was there to help with him.  I would have been stuck in the condo ALL week without Matt's mom (BeBe).

Mother's Day

Happy mother's day to all my mama's and gmas!!  :)  We are planning a low key afternoon around here.  That means I boss my husband around and he can't say anything because it's mothers day.  I get one a day a year...I'm taking advantage.  There will be curtains hung in the baby's room....that would have been a good present by itself but I won't tell Matt that.  Instead...my wonderful hubs got these stackable rings for me!!

I have always liked these.  I know several people with them.  I gave him no ideas this year.  He was on his own!!  I hate to admit that I'm the easiest wife to buy presents for.   If you ask me what I want, I always have a list of things I want.  Not a good quality, but good for Matt.

It's a good thing I have long fingers.  That's alotta rings! :)

We went to church and Hayes got "dedicated" today.  It's not a baptism (he will decided when he is ready to do that when he's older).  It's us making a pledge to bring up Hayes in the love and admonition of the Lord.  Pastor Nick presented Hayes with a certificate of dedication and his 1st Bible.  It is a special day!!

Here are some more of Trevor and Hayes this week.  Hayes (3mo) is so big and Trev (23 months) is so small.  I bet they will be the same size soon!
