California Thanksgiving
We got to spend Thanksgiving being grateful for these wonderful people. The girls were off track so we got to spend two weeks visiting instead of just a long weekend.
We went to the zoo, went ice skating, made pomegranate jelly, made potions in Oma's kitchen ( a fond memory for me as a kid), went to the temple with just my mom and sister it was special, visited friends, the girls got personal quilts made by Oma, did a little art, a little sewing, and played a lot. I even got to see a bestie of mine, it was magical. Fun trip!

November Birthday
I know it's February and I'm posting about November. I'm working on getting caught up (only slightly daunting :) But alas...
This little darling went and turned 4 and reminds us how thankful we are for her. She is spunky, independent, and always up for an adventure. She loves T'shirts and hats. Insists on wearing the same three outfits over and over again (maybe a little head strong). Loves to play with her brother and tell him how cute he is while giving him lots of hugs even if they are not always welcome. She is so fun and reminds us that we have a lot to learn about parenting. So much love flowing for this little one.
The requested Daniel Tiger cake.

Walt Tours 2014
Grandpa Woodbury does an annual trip usually involving his sons called "Waltours." This year it turned into a little Woodbury reunion. It took place in St George, home of Grandpa until he was four. We went down in mid-October and the weather was perfect.
Instead of heading to Zion National Park (it was extremely busy) we went to the ghost town of Grafton. T's great grandmother taught school there back when it was a community. It is a fun little picturesque place and home to a few movies including "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." There was also an interesting cemetery where the tombstones described their deaths for example: being killed by Indians.
That night we all got to go to the Children's Museum. As a treat Grandpa rented out the place so the kids had a ball with the place to themselves. It was fun for all and relaxing knowing it was only family around so the kids could wander off and play until theirs hearts were content.
The next day we toured Brigham Young's winter house followed by a walking tour lead by Grandpa. We saw the house he lived in as a boy and his grandmother's house. We also stopped at Judd's general store full of old time sweets and original decor. We then headed over to the center of town for a picnic and playing in water. Later in the afternoon we enjoyed a walk in Snow Canyon. It was lovely. We then ate dinner all together at a local restaurant. It was a great time catching up with family. We were glad we could go.

Fall festivities
Pack's Pumpkin Patch
cleopatra, a pirate princess, and a mermaid
Not sure I'll do this every year but this year I cleaned out the pumpkins ahead of time so carving didn't take so long. It was a success as you can see from the smiles.
we had a awesome bunch join us this year
First Half of October
a cool double rainbow by our barn shed
just chillin in the dishwasher... this used to be Gracie's favorite spot
this is half of what was bottled from our grapes
just doing a little matching game during conference
longing to be big enough to really take a ride
these gals love strolling the neighborhood
Celebrating our sweet baby Isaac's birthday with traditional treat making. This year was especially hard since he would have turned 8. So blessed to be the mom to these amazing people. So happy they always include and think of Isaac. My heart may just burst!
Letty was apart of a speech contest. She did great.
no monkey business here
she loves her little bro, sometimes too much :)
We were able to drive up to Fracis Peak home of some very noticeable radar towers. T-man had a hankering to go check it out. About half way up I was ready to turn around. It was a narrow unpaved path that frankely just stressed me out. We got out here where I got a shot of these cuties. Luckily after this point the roads got wider.
but man was it cold up there I guess it was bound to be at 9500 ft.
and we got to enjoy this awesome wonder
