Convo

We were able to capture Lizette's first conversation with her parents; we think she may have been asking for a raise in her allowance.  Either way, it's pretty cute and we had to share it with the world.  We're thinking about selling this video to the Department of Defense (I'm sure that they could weaponize the cuteness in the video so that it would melt the hearts of anyone who saw it).

Cabin Time

We met my family for a mini-cation in the cabin in New Mexico.  We had such a great time introducing Lizette to her cousin and Aunt Melissa and Uncle Ray for the first time.

One of my favorites is Claribel fixing her cousins bow (or trying to steal it, we're not sure).

So above collage is my first to make with Picasa.  I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing, but I'll try to perfect the technique as I go along.

Growing...

Everything around us is growing.


Our garden has given us its first harvest!

The small little tomatoes were just amazing, and the garden promises bigger ones on the way soon!

Tiny little purple flowers died away and in their place we have growing eggplants!

The new rose bush we planted this year has the most gorgeous roses.

BUT, the most incredible growth we've seen has occurred in just one year!  Happy first year Claribel!!!

I finished my masters!!!!

You can now call me Master Rebecca.  I'll post a list of desired graduation gifts later...
Really though, the best gift is now being able to get plenty of guilt-free/ stress-free snuggle time with my baby love!

Lavin Visit

Lizette got to meet her Uncle Brian for the first time, AND got another fun visit with Grandma and Granddad.
