Solemn Assembly

It was awesome to see the solemn assembly (allowing each group of the church to stand and sustain!) at conference and listen to the messages. During the session break we went to the park for some bike riding and wheelchair riding. I started a puzzle and the boys went to priesthood session. I turned the television on to turn on a Hallmark movie it called the announcement about the priesthood organization changing within the words and I texted Ross and asked if he was out of a job now or if his job just got bigger :-)
Him and Allen enjoyed conference and In and Out after and the girls and I watched a Hailey Dean mystery. And I finished the puzzle. The setting was Venice. I got to travel there for $1 and didn't have to pack a bag. :-)

Friday Fiesta

My parents left to go back to Utah early this morning. We gave good-bye hugs. 🤗 My dad said he wished he lived down the street. The feeling is mutual.

I've been coordinating egg hunt and food prep gloves with other leaders and yw this morning. 😑

I'm sitting in storytime with Jill. We left Any propped up on the couch and the other kids are looking for books to checkout.

Tonight is the ward Easter Fiesta. Abby wants to try to go. Allen is going to be her designated egg Hunter because it's only for primary age children.

The girls had fun making the bunny craft!!

Mystery Movie Marathon

We tucked Abby in, all propped up, and let her sleep through the night but she called on the extra cell phone in tears that she was hurting and needed medicine. Part was mental as she will up trapped in a car and on her bed. She was fine in minutes and asked about doing a Hallmark mystery movie marathon!! So we did. Thoughout the day we watched four movies I had recorded on our cloud. (Last Scene Alive--Teagarden, Concrete Evidence--Fixer Upper, Death Al Dente--Gourmet Detectives, Peach Cobbler--Murder She Baked.) We had hot dogs for lunch, fajitas for dinner and Dad made a cake to go with ice cream.

Emma was inspired while watching and pot on her cop outfit!

Note: It was cousin Ellen's birthday yesterday so I posted an old photo on her FB wall when her family came to visit in Chicago April 2006 for Easter and Allen's first birthday. Allen's the baby in the stroller on front of cloud gate.

Parent Swap

Ross stay the night and I came in the morning and swapped him at the hospital. Then he went to work and my parents stayed home with the kids.

Abby progressed quickly and she was antsy to get up and use the real toilet. Physical Therapy came in and helped me learn how to transport her safely and we got her in her wheelchair and she went down to the second floor for all the activities.

While we were there they cleaned our room and moved all of our stuff. 😣 After lunch she rested and we watched When Calls the Heart, season 2. She met two dogs; one that can read and do tricks and the other one that got to climb up in her hospital bed and sit on her lap. She loved it!! They added another layer to her cast (it had a slit through it originally to allow room for swelling) and she checked off with all medical stuff and was discharged about 5 o'clock.
