One thing I like about cool Fall nights is that the kiddos wear their footie pj’s.
Don’t you just want to snuggle with them? 🙂
PJ’s
A Trip to Harmon’s
Saturday we headed out to Harmon’s Tree Farm with some friends. Here they are with their friends (all 6 are under the age of 2). Do you know how hard it is to get 6 little ones to look in the same direction? 🙂
Charlie and his girlfriend Sarah Ann 🙂
Anna Claire’s mission: to examine all the pumpkins. 🙂

Charlie is on a mission as well… “Where are the animals? Daddy, let’s go look for them!”
“Nay-nay” (This is Nathan…Anna Claire affectionately calls him ‘Nay-Nay’…so cute!)
Reece!! You can’t help but smile when you see this picture. 🙂
A Fun Surprise!
Last Saturday, I took the kids to the park while Devin stayed home working outside. After the park we went to Wal-Mart then picked up lunch at Chick-fil-a. Devin called me when I was leaving and asked me when I would be home. I told him I was on my way. (Let me back up a little. We knew that Devin’s grandmother and great-aunt were coming into town that day…you probably read about it in an earlier post.) When I got home I saw a jeep in the driveway. I knew I recognized it but couldn’t remember who it belonged to. I saw the tag was a NC tag so my first thought was that they came early in some other car. Then…I saw her…and him…I couldn’t believe it…Rebekah and Justin made a surprise trip home from Texas!! We were so excited. Justin’s sister was the only one who knew!! (it was her jeep!) She has a little boy who will be 3 in December and a little girl who just turned 1. They kiddos had fun in the wagon.
We had a great weekend with Aunt Bekah and Uncle Justin. Sunday we had dinner with my parents and grandparents.
Charlie was watching Uncle Justin very carefully as he climbed the rope and was coming down the stairs!
Aunt Bekah and Pa were helping them climb the ladder. (This was our playset when we were little!)
Playing with the bubbles with Ma.
Showing Meme and Big Papa how clean he is after bath.
Playing with Aunt Mel Mel. 🙂
Unfortunately they had to head back to Texas.
We can’t wait to see them in December!
19 pictures for 19 months
Our sweet Anna Claire and Charlie turned 19 months old last week. We took them to the doctor Tuesday for their 18 month well visit. (I know…a month late…but Devin and I wanted to both go so we had to wait for Fall Break.) Here are their stats: Charlie is 23lbs 2oz and Anna Claire is 20lbs 2oz. He is 32 inches long and She is 31 inches. They are both doing incredibly well!
In honor of their 19 months of life, I thought I’d share 19 pictures from the past few weeks.
We went to the park with Bryson and Mrs. Elizabeth. 🙂

Playing at Chick-fil-a with Nathan, Sarah Ann, Carlie, Addie, and Reece.

Anna Claire had to get her feet wrapped with tape by the physical therapist to help fix some problems. It didn’t stop her. She called it her ‘boo boo.’
Charlie got his own boo boo while trying to ride his tricycle with Grandpa. (Side note…he loves his lion and I love his beautiful blue eyes!)
Charlie got his second haircut. (Yes, Mrs. Emilee had her baby, Brooks, two days later!) 🙂
They love playing with sidewalk chalk. (notice the piece in her hand)
Charlie is curious about all of Daddy’s tools.
Silly girl playing with the laundry.
Trouble makers. (She pulled dirt out of my flower pot and he tried climbing the bookshelf!!)

The love their Daddy. (They had a snuggle time after bath the day they got their shots.)
As you can see, we’ve got two precious yet busy little ones on our hands. We love them to pieces!!
Pumpkins
Last year Anna Claire and Charlie were not mobile, but we took them to pick out pumpkins anyway.
Yesterday we stopped by a pumpkin stand so they could each pick out a pumpkin and we could get one to carve. They were so cute.

We’re hoping to take them to Harmon’s Tree Farm soon for the hayride, to visit the pumpkin patch, and other fun Fall things. I love this time of year!
