U-S-C….Go Cocks!

We supported our team by wearing our garnet and black today.  We are so proud of our Carolina Gamecocks!ImageThe little ones had a great day today.  We ran errands this morning then met a bunch of our friends at the library.  We came home, played, ate lunch, napped, then headed to our friends’ house to play outside while Daddy cut the grass at our house.  Then…Mommy went to play Bunco with some friends so Daddy took the kiddos to Cici’s Pizza then to the dollar movies.  They didn’t stay the whole time but it sounds like they had a great night!  And to top it all off…a Carolina win at the College World Series!! 🙂

A Picture of the Cousins

OK.  So Rebekah and I wanted one, just ONE, picture of our kiddos together.  We had Aunt Melanie there to help.  Now, let me preface this with the fact that we are not professionals.  We just wanted ONE picture where all 3 little ones look nice.  Anyways, here’s how it played out.  We put them all on the couch.  The looks they are giving us say, “Mommy, what do you want us to do?  This isn’t super fun.”Image  Well, we realized they were not close enough so we asked the twins to kiss Gracie.  That didn’t work because they covered her face. Image OK…let’s try something else.  Anna Claire can hold Grace.  (side note…AC thinks it is the best thing in the world to hold HER baby Grace.  Seriously…I asked her, “is that Aunt Bekah’s Baby Grace?”  She said, “No!  My Baby Gace!”  Anyways, Gracie was less than thrilled.Image  I guess Charlie thought he could solve the problem by giving her CPR!  Ahhh!!!Image  Then they tried to comfort her.  So sweet! 🙂Image  Change of plans…maybe we can make them all lay on the couch and look up at us.  Hmmm…not a great pose, but we got them all to look at the camera and not cry.Image  Maybe we should leave the photography to the professionals.  🙂  After that AC and Charlie went upstairs with Aunt Melanie and Gracie and Bekah went outside to swing in the hammock. ImageImage Regardless of whether or not we got a good picture…we had a great time and made memories. 🙂

Firehats and an Oil Change

One morning we were playing outside and Anna Claire and Charlie were playing with their fireman hats.  They have such an imagination now.  I love it!ImageImage

ImageImageWhile Devin was changing the oil in my car, the kids and I went outside for them to play in the sprinklers (hence the swimmy diapers).  Well, helping Daddy was much more fun than the sprinkler.  Also, the ramp for the car is a perfect slide! 🙂ImageImageImageRandom…I thought this was a pretty neat picture I took of a bee on our lantana.Image

Anna Claire’s First Haircut

A couple weeks ago we took the kiddos to get their hair cut.  It was Charlie’s third (maybe fourth) haircut but Anna Claire’s first.  Here’s the pro, Charlie:Image  Here’s AC ready to go and then her with Mrs. Emilee after she is done.ImageImage

Also, my cousin, Sarah, just graduated from highschool.  We celebrated with her at her graduation brunch the other week.  Congrats Sarah! 🙂 Image My Aunt Virginia, Uncle Mark, and cousin Thomas came into town from VA for her graduation.  It was good to see them since we don’t get to see them much (the rest of my family…seriously…all my aunts, uncles, cousins…live in SC so we get to see them more often).  Anyways, here’s a picture of Charlie with Thomas.  I remember Thomas being Charlie’s age so it is crazy to see him holding my little man. 🙂 Image

Music and Movement

When the twins were little, sometimes Devin and/or Mrs. Kim would take them to Lapsit at the Library.  Then it was summertime and Mommy started staying home and got to go.  Now that the kiddos are older they get to go to Music and Movement instead.  They read books, sing songs, play with shakers and parachutes, dance to music, watch puppet shows, etc.  During the school year they limit the class size (which is nice).  During the summer anyone can come and it is still lots of fun to see ALL the kiddos play.  Here’s a picture of them and their friends Caroline, Sarah Ann, and Reece.  Below that you will see pictures of them from 2010 and 2009.  They are growing so quickly.  ImageImageImage

Another fun thing we like to do (when it is not 100 million degrees like it is today) is play outside in our sandbox.  We can’t wait to go to the beach! 🙂 Image
