Wednesday would have been my grandmother’s 75th birthday. My grandfather made his first cake ever! It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. He invited us all to stop by whenever we could on Wednesday. I think it was good for him to be surrounded by family that day since this is the first birthday without her. The kids loved the cake! Please continue to pray for my mom, Pa, and the rest of our family as we still grieve the loss of this special lady! (Aren’t the flowers he put on her grave beautiful?) 🙂
The last of the color days…On Tuesday, it was purple day. Charlie took a purple foam ‘3’ and Anna Claire took a purple pony book. We had purple grapes with our breakfast this day. Thursday was black/brown/white day. They wore their black USC shirts…AC took a black spatula and Charlie took a black paint brush. They have had so much fun with color days show and tell. Next is shapes!
