Lovely February

This month we celebrated Valentine’s day.  Anna Claire and Charlie decorated boxes for preschool to collect their Valentines.  They also helped make Valentine treats for their friends at church, preschool, dance, etc.  vday crafts

Nathan, Sarah Ann, Reece, Addie, Carlie, and Gabe came over for a Valentine playdate.valentine playdate

For Valentine’s Day, Daddy took us out to eat at Mellow Mushroom.  He got Anna Claire a baby Tiana and Charlie a Thor action figure.  They were so excited.  Friday night the kids spent the night with Granny and Papa.  Daddy brought Mommy flowers, took her to dinner at her favorite “Mr. Friendly’s” and then bought her new running shoes.  The kiddos got Daddy some of his favorite candy and a remote control helicopter!  This helicopter has been super fun! 🙂 It was a fun day doing extra special things to show each other a little extra love.  flower

We had a Mardi Gras playdate at Nathan’s house.  Cole found the baby in the king cake. 🙂mardi gras

We visited Pa.  Charlie played golf in the house…wonder what Ma would have said about that? 🙂 We also visited Meme and Big Papa on Valentine’s day too!great grands

We had lunch and a playdate at Nana’s house one day.  So much fun!!nanas

Every night before bed we read books, say prayers, and put stickers on something.  It was a “Thankful Tree” in November, a Christmas tree in December, and starting January 14 we wrote names of people we love on a heart and each night put a heart sticker on a name and prayed for that person.  heart

Last weekend it actually got pretty cold here in good ole SC.  It “snowed” for a few minutes.  (It was really just a lot of ice…maybe a few flurries.)  Anna Claire and Charlie couldn’t wait to go out and play…so we did! 🙂 snow
