Do you wanna build a snowman?

Monday was a beautiful day!  Seriously…almost 70 degrees.  We spent so much time playing outside and it was wonderful!photo 1

The next day we had an early release from school because we were expecting SNOW!  Well, the snow didn’t come until later than we expected, but we woke up Wednesday morning to a little over 3 inches of fresh, clean, bright white snow!  Over the past 48 hours we have spent a lot of time playing in this cold, white snow!  Snow angels, snowman, snowball fights, sledding, pretending to be Iceman and Wolverine, snow castles, running and playing, snow cream, hot chocolate, hats, gloves, coats, and scarves…It has been wonderful!  Here are some pictures from our fun time!photo 2photo 3 photo 5photo 4 photo 2 (2)photo 3 (2) photo 1 (2)photo 4 (2) photo 5 (2)

A couple weeks ago we headed to the beach for a weekend retreat with our church.  It was C.O.L.D. but we had a wonderful time!  The first night we had dinner with 2 other families then joined everyone for karaoke, cornhole, and games.photo 5 (2)photo 1 (4) We were split in to teams for games the next day.  There were relay races…photo 4 (2)tug of war, crab walking…

Happy New Year!

Welcome 2014!  A few days before the new year Devin ran another 5k and the kids and I headed out to cheer him on! So proud of him. 🙂  That night Granny and Papa came over for dinner and to see all the fun things the kiddos got for Christmas. 🙂photo 1 photo 2

On New Year’s Eve the kiddos had a sleepover with Nana and Grandpa.  They went bowling and out to eat.  Then they did sparklers and pop-its to ring in the new year.  So fun!  Mommy and Daddy went out to eat with their friends, watched football, played guitar, snacked, made a diaper cake for a friend’s shower, and even planned our CRUISE for the summer!  So thankful for our sweet friends. 🙂 photo 4

The next day we had lunch with the Hensons and mommy ate plenty of collards. 😉  We also cheered on our Gamecocks!!!  Yay!  Here’s a picture of the kiddos and their cousin playing in the playroom at Nana’s.  photo 3

Today we headed to HiWire.  Aunt Spencer took the kids there for their Christmas present.  It was SO MUCH FUN!  It’s basically a huge trampoline where you can jump, play basketball, dodge ball, tight rope walk, and jump from a really high platform or from a trampoline into a foam pit.  🙂photo 1 (2) photo 2 (2)

We can’t wait to enjoy 2014 together! 🙂  Happy New Year friends!
