Our garage had become pretty cluttered. The floors were splattered with paint from all the cornhole boards we made. We, well mostly Devin, decided this summer to clean it out, paint it, and only put the bare minimum back. Here are some pictures of our project. It was a lot of work but totally worth it! AC helped a little but C preferred to play as you can see in the soccer picture. 🙂
Also this summer, Aunt Spencer and Brandon got engaged! We are looking forward to officially welcoming Uncle Brandon to the family next summer! This is a picture Anna Claire drew of them after they got engaged!
We had a fun morning at the lake with some friends from church before they headed to NY for the summer. It was a beautiful day!
EdVenture got a new exhibit this summer about dinosaurs. We had fun learning and playing!

Garage Make-over
Catching up on Summer fun!
This summer we spent many days playing at local parks. It was super fun when Daddy could come too!
We went to a Blowfish baseball game. It was superhero night and Charlie went on the field to throw the ball with some players. Grandpa joined us too!
I feel like we voted a lot this summer…primaries, special elections, runoffs…The kids were great sports and tagged along every time. 🙂
We took a fun family bike ride to a park one Sunday afternoon. The kids did a great job!
We went to the zoo with Aunt Caity and Parker.
We took a day trip to Charlotte to help Granny with some things around the house. The kids had fun playing!
In the warm SC heat, we played in water a lot. The sprinklers were a great way to cool off on a hot afternoon.
One of our first playdates of the summer was at our friend Nathan’s house. We have so much fun playing there!
And here are some pictures of AC’s “Elsa braid”, the kids watching “Wizard of Oz” for the first time, and Daddy’s new office at work that we helped him clean and organize.
These sure were fun times!
Greenville fun!
Last month we headed to a water park in Greenville with the Broadwells.
When we got there it was super crowded but then a little storm came through. Many people left, but we waited it out and ended up being able to play again with a much smaller crowd. The kids had a great time!
After the waterpark we headed to meet the Perkins for dinner! It was so great to see them again. 🙂
We also celebrated a lot of birthdays this summer. Here are a few pictures of some of the celebrations.
Now it’s officially fall. I’ve still got a few things to post from our summer fun, but we are looking forward to all the fun this new season brings! 🙂
