SC State Fair 2014

We headed out to the fair Friday after school.  We love the fair.  We enjoyed eating food, looking through the buildings, riding rides, playing games, visiting the animals, and staying to see all the lights come on.  This year was so much fun! photo 1 photo 2 photo 3 photo 4 photo 5 I’m still trying to catch up on all my blogging I missed over the summer, so here are some pictures from Father’s Day in June. 🙂 Chick-fil-a hosted a daddy/daughter date night so Devin and Jeffrey took the girls. 🙂 Cortney and I took the boys to dinner too! photo 1 (2)photo (48)The kids and I baked brownies for Devin and took him bowling. photo 2 (2) They went fishing with Devin and his dad for Father’s day.  We had a cookout at my parents’ house with my granddads for Father’s day.photo 3 (2)  We are super thankful for all these awesome men in our lives! 🙂 Also, the other week we had a little get together with my mom’s side of the family.  It was great to see them! pa

Carolina Homecoming

The first USC football game I ever went to was a homecoming game.  My daddy bought me, my sister, and my mom corsages to wear to the game. 🙂 It was fun!

This Saturday, Devin and I took Anna Claire and Charlie to their first Gamecock football game. It was homecoming and we played Furman. They were super excited to see pregame…the cheerleaders, band, football players, Cocky, Miss Cocky, fireworks…it was super exciting! photo 2 (4) photo 2 (3) photo 1 (3) photo 1 (4) photo (45) photo 3 (4) photo 4 (4) Then the game began.  We got the kids some snow cones because it was super hot.  We had great seats! During the second quarter we walked over to visit Aunt Melanie and the band. photo 5 (2) Then we walked upstairs to Granny and Papa’s seats to get a better view for the half time show.photo 4 (3) photo 3 (3)  It was a fun game and our gamecocks won!

In other news…we are going to have a new nephew in January!  Congrats Caity and Chadd. 🙂 We can’t wait to meet Grayson.photo 3 photo 2 photo 1  Charlie and Spencer were arm wrestling.  Then Granny asked him if he knew how to leg wrestle.  Haha!photo 4 photo

One Wednesday a month the kids have early release from school.  We got to play with our friends Nathan, Emma, Sarah Ann, Reece, and Carson on our last early release.  🙂 fun times!photo 5 photo 4 (2) photo 1 (2)

The kids’ school hosted a hoedown the other week.  The kids were excited to wear their boots, eat pizza, line dance, and play with their friends.  It was a fun evening! 🙂 photo 2 (2) photo 3 (2)photo (46)
