Love,
Devin, Kathy, Anna Claire, and Charlie
…oh Christmas tree! Your leaves are so unchanging!
This year we decided to give a real tree a whirl. One Sunday after church, we headed to Price’s tree farm. It was fun! We searched around for the perfect tree. The kids loved smelling the trees! Charlie wanted to count the rings on the tree after the guys trimmed the trunk. We loaded it up and headed home to decorate.

Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle Chadd, and Uncle Brandon got an early Christmas present from Nana so they headed to Charlotte to the ACC Championship game. Charlie, Anna Claire and Mommy went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. We made a little detour by Build-A-Bear. After the mall, we headed to Nana’s house with all the girls to decorate her tree. AC and Charlie stayed to watch a Christmas show and play this headband game with Nana and Aunt Spencer, while mommy headed to one of her high school best friend’s house for a Christmas party. A fun night was had by all!

These ladies…I’m so thankful for them (and the ones who couldn’t make it.) They are in my Bible study group from church.
Anna Claire once again marched in the Lexington Christmas parade with her dance school. They had so much fun!

Elf on the Shelf…this is such a fun little game we’re playing this year. The kids named their elves John and Mary. Creative, huh? Here’s some of the shenanigans they’ve been up to recently. 🙂
December is off to a great start!

We had a great thanksgiving with family. The kids had a lot of fun at school with thanksgiving activities…making butter, learning about the pilgrims and indians, making Squanto snack, writing thankful books, fun turkey activities…we’re definitely so thankful for their school, teachers, and sweet friends! Wednesday was their first day off of school. We played at home, met daddy for lunch at zesto’s, and then went to get our passports!

That night the kids spent the night with my parents and Devin and I tried out this new place in town called Private Property. It was good. The kids stayed up late helping bake pies, bread for the dressing, deviled eggs, etc. Thursday morning, we headed on over to my parents. We watched the parade, cooked some more, and spent a lot of time playing outside. It was such a relaxing, wonderful day!

Friday, grandpa and daddy began building bookcases for nana, so I took the kids to see the new Disney movie, The Good Dinosaur. It was cute. We came home and the kids spent the afternoon playing outside with neighborhood kids and we had dinner with nana and grandpa that night.
Saturday morning, the kids and I headed to Pitter Platter to make a couple Christmas gifts. After that we went to the Hensons to watch the USC/Clemson game. Y’all. I was seriously thinking we were gonna get creamed. But our guys showed up. Yes we lost by 5 points. But that’s only by 5 points to the #1 team in the country. Anyways, it was a great weekend! AND Charlie lost his second tooth! 🙂

Here are a few other happenings recently:
I went to the Southern Christmas show with Devin’s mom, granny, and aunt. It was a fun day!
Charlie wrapped up his second season of football. He had a wonderful season!
Parker got her cast off in time to play in her last soccer game of the season. We enjoyed watching her dance, I mean play, soccer that morning. 🙂
Rebekah came in to town for the weekend for Morgan’s bridal shower. We enjoyed spending time with her!

The kids had a lot of fun with their besties going to a play that their co-op did the other week. 🙂
November was a great month! Now on to Christmas fun!
**This didn’t happen in November, but here’s a picture of our beautiful ballerina at her parent observation night!
