This summer both kids participated in the summer reading program at the library. They attended the weekly programs at the library (lego club, cookie decorating challenge, Chad Crews the magician, porkchop productions Rapunzel, columbia marionette, and the Hawaiian storytellers), and logged their reading hours so they could receive their medals, free books, and fun prizes! We are so thankful for our library!
They also both attended VBS. I have such fun memories of VBS as a child and I know they will too! Singing, crafting, snacking, playing games, service projects, and more…all while learning about Jesus!
Charlie did a football camp at White Knoll, a basketball camp at USC, and a soccer camp at River Bluff. This boy loves sports and had so much fun! And of course he’s also had some fun playing golf with Daddy!
Anna Claire spent a lot of her time this summer in the gym working on her gymnastics skills. (and doing handstands all over the place from the beach to the mountains, zoo, pool, HiWire, and a lemonade stand!)In her time outside of the gym she also did art camp (one day with Gracie!) and lots of baking. 🙂
Oh, and mommy has been teaching them piano. They are catching on quickly and enjoying it. 🙂
