About

Me and the Missus are trying to become the ultimate of B-movie clichés and become pregnant lesbians! dun-dun-duuunnnnn

OK, only one of will be getting pregnant, and that will be me since as far as we can tell, my body was made to breed, and if we are honest, the one least likely to sufficiently care for a pregnant woman.  During the day, I work for The Man as a graphic designer and photographer, but it’s really nothing glamorous. At night, Missus and I are working towards building our own photography and graphic design business.  When it’s your name on the letterhead, it gets much more glamorous.

(The Missus, who is the most caring and nurturing soul alive, is also her own (second) biggest fan, so I will let her fill you in on her.)

After almost 6 years of domestic bliss, we have decided it is time to bring a baby into our lives. And while we are confident that this is something we can handle, it is also something that scares the bejeezus out of us. We have successfully raised an African grey parrot, two cats, three dogs and a gold fish named Sham-Wow, so what’s one more? right? right?

I am excited for this journey, and I know there is no one in the world who will be a better person to be pregnant with than Missus. To look at us, you would assume that I, with my long blonde hair and four-inch heels, am the girly one of the two of us. Missus, with her short crop and deep voice is the obvious choice as “the butch”. But that’s not how it is in real life, because if there is a shelf that needs to be hung, or a bug needing to be squashed put outside, I’m your gal.

The delicate, sensitive, always-pampering-and-nurturing-their-partner one? That’s the Missus. Of course, she is always available to open jars (and doors) whenever I need it. I guess it just isn’t black and white with the two of us. But it probably never is when two girls get together and try to make a baby.
