7 Months

Ella is getting so big! She has now outgrown all of her 6-9 month clothes and is almost outgoing some of her 9-12 month clothes. We think that she might start crawling soon too.

Our Little Bolivian

My parents bought this sweater/hat for Ella before she was even born. Sorry that there isn't a better picture of her in the hat...after the first several pictures she was VERY adamant about not wearing that hat. But isn't it cute how her hair is sticking straight up on top now?

Things Ella Enjoys

As you can see from the first picture, Ella loves for us to help her stand up. She can't stand on her own yet but really thinks it's fun to stand with a little help. She also loves taking off her socks and looking at her feet as witnessed in the last video I posted. She enjoys reading more and more these days and has even started crying between books...like if I set one book down to pick up another one she will get upset until we start the next one.

Ella Photo Shoot - Adjusted Photos

My wonderful sister-in-law edited some of these pictures for me. I love the way they look now! Thanks, Denea! I'm going to learn everything my father-in-law, Denea and my friend, Erica, know about adjusting photos this summer when I come home for a visit! I can hardly wait.

Our Vacation

This week we took Ella on her first family vacation. We just went to a town that is thirty minutes away by train but it was a lot of fun for us to have a bit of a change of scenery. Ella did a great job! We were pleasantly surprised by how well she did since on previous trips to her doctor (two and a half hours away by train) she has had a hard time. We're hoping that this means she will continue to get better about traveling as she grows especially since we will be traveling to America this summer.
