The Back Pack

It's been a while since I've had time to post anything. Work has been crazy and I've been going to be about the time Zoey does - so that doesn't leave me much free time.

Our little Zoey runs everywhere she goes. First thing in the morning after I lift her out of her crib, she heads for her shoes and wants to go out. It's a challenge for me to keep up with her and everyday it gets harder to carry her (since Jacob is growing fast too!) Speaking of Jacob - he's a wiggly little guy who moves, kicks punches frequently!

Zoey LOVES animals. Especially dogs! She enjoys chasing the cat around the house and makes high pitched coo-ing sounds when she spots her "target". Princess is good to tolerate her "love" and then escapes to freedom.

We've been able to tie dye a few times this year. Zoey really gets into it!

Zoey LOVES water. After her afternoon nap, she loves to help daddy water the plants (tomatoes & marigolds) on our back patio. She doesn't mind when she gets sprayed by the hose or a squirt gun. She heads for the bathtub and wants in - she even recently figured out how to lift the toilet lid so she can play in the water. (EWWWW!)

Zoey somehow figures out how to use features on my phone that even I don't know how to use. Here, she's pretending to talk to Grandma.

At 14.5 months Zoey says "bye bye" "daddy" or "doggie" (they sound similar and are used for dad, Princess Paz and any animal.) I've heard her say "Hi-ya". She good at waving good bye and she claps her hands when she's happy or proud of her accomplishments.

Zoey LOVES ice cream. Here she is taking a break at Sam's Club. Yummm!

This girl does not like to go down the stairs the safe way/backwards. She prefers to see where she's going. She scoots to the edge of the stair, puts her feet down, stands and claps - the repeats the process. She's trying hard to grow up and do what we do. In fact... she usually rejects the dinner we make her and wants to have what I'm having.

We had Stake Conference Sunday and she did pretty well. I was able to hear most of the speakers. Daddy only had to take her to the back to calm her down for 20 mins - but they made it back in time to hear Elder Bednar.

That's all the time I have for now... I hope to be a more regular blogger... guess we'll see how it goes.
