MDO Preschool Graduation

Aiden's Mother's Day Out Preschool Class had a little graduation ceremony last week.  This was the first MDO program that he has ever had.  Although he is not going to Kindergarten next year and doing a different preschool program at our church, it was still bittersweet to know that his time at Mother's Day Out is over.  We have loved his teachers this year!  Here are some pics from the program.  (I tried to take some video with my phone but the quality was poor and for some reason the volume was only one on one song).

Little Climber

Addisyn has turned into a little climber recently.  Aiden never really tired to climb up on many things, so we definitely have to keep an eye on this little stinker.  Today, she climbed up the kitchen chair and onto the table to get to my drink.  She was so proud when I found her.  All I have to say is "oh boy!"

Pool Fun

We brought out our pool on Sunday night for the kids to play in.  Addisyn was too young to play in it last year.  But this time she had a blast, especially since her newest favorite thing is to slide!  Aiden of course had fun also.  We didn't stay in too long, as Addisyn's lips were turning blue and she was starting to shiver a little.  I have a feeling we will be spending lots of summer evenings like this!

We have a tooth!

 We finally have reason to break out this toothbrush!  Addisyn's first tooth has FINALLY arrived at 16 months.

Kite Festival

On Saturday, we enjoyed a morning out by the lake at the Kite Festival.  It was fun to see all the families flying kites together.  I enjoyed some of the bigger kites that they had out.  It was a little hot and we had forgotten to bring Addisyn's beloved Lambie, so we packed up a went home before lunch.  Here are some pictures I took that morning.

Aiden completed his second year of Awana Cubbies Club.  Out of the many things he participates in at church, this seems to be his favorite.  We look forward to memorizing a Bible verse each week and learning about Cubbie Bear (with his friends) on their adventures.
