Health Update

Harold got the results of his prostate cancer treatment. The radiation therapy worked, and he is free of that cancer--YEA

Jimmy got his cast off yesterday and has now transitioned to a boot to begin some walking. Things are healing... slowly but surely. We've told him he needs to try being sweeter so things will heal faster. :)

Praise be to God!

Update on Jimmy

Thank you for all of your prayers during this time. As most of you know, Jimmy (Ceil's husband) fell on some ice last Monday and broke his leg. He had surgery last week and since then has been in the hospital recovering. Jimmy is doing well and is as much of a cut-up as ever. They plan for him to go home today. He will still not be able to put any weight on it for ~ 6 more weeks. Ceil, his full-time nurse has done a good job taking care of him. Thanks again for remembering him in your prayers.

Love you all!

Harold Dean update

Today(Tues.) Harold had his cancer removed from his arm. It is stitched and bandaged and will stay that way until he goes back in two weeks. Then the doctor will make sure he got it all. I am sure that he'll have some pain, but we are glad it is done. The dermatologist also froze the growth on his neck and another on his face or arm, I forgot which. Those should heal after the area peels off, the doctor said.

He'll probably just hang out at home for the next few days. The doc told him he would need to take codeine for a few days, and that will probably make him a little drowsy.

Love you all,
Beth
