Random.....

The local Farmer's Market was having a tomato tasting event.  It was awesome!  I didn't realize that I liked tomatoes so much.  I was just eating or trying all the wrong ones beforehand.

We painted Rachel' room.  This was the first room we have officially painted in our house.  I know....we've been in the house for 4 yrs.  Oh well.  We bought owl bedding for her 9th birthday and did the room.  She loves it!!

A new friend.  Can't wait until she moves to Bloomington next summer....as in this summer since this is an old picture!

 First day of school!

 This is Spencer's first day of Kindergarten.  He was soo excited.  My baby boy!

 I took the kids to school for their first day, so on the 2nd day they got to ride the bus.  This was Spencer's first time on the bus.  I'm pretty sure this was his "nervous" smile.

I found the cutest little red bonnet. I loved it! It went so well with this adorable dress that my friend, Amanda sent. You rock girl!

Jamie Jamie. I love this girl. She is awesome and has moved away from the area as well, BUT she came for a visit and stayed with Lisa. We had a little lunch over at my house and she has the touch. Eliza went right to sleep for her.

Happy Birthday Spencer!!

In August, Spencer turned the big 6!! We were excited because he was finally big enough for a big boy bike. He loves loves cars so we found a Hot Wheels bike. He loved it. He walked outside and threw his hands up in the air and had this look on his face that said, "Are you kidding me?" It was awesome. The right handle makes a revving noise when you roll the handle back (like on a motorbike). He was pretty happy.

His choice for dinner was Chuck-e-Cheese. He was allowed to invite 1 friend. (I do birthday parties for them every 4 years and that's it!) His buddy Carter was all for it!
I always try to make a creative cake for them but with a 6 week old I was shooting for easy. He wanted a Francesco cake from Cars2. In the past, he's requested Mater and Lightning McQueen and those cakes took FOREVER!!! So I attempted a little Italian village on the coast like they are racing in the movie. It wasn't as hard as the others.....but really? What was I thinking. He said he liked his cake but probably not the coolest for a 6 year old.

We invited the rest of the Crafton clan over for cake and icecream following dinner.

I can't believe how big he is getting. I just love how sweet and kind my little boy is. I know he will grow up one day but I am thankful to have this time with him now. He is happy and so obedient, and considerate, and I love how clean he is! He is always trying to do his best for us and loves to spend time with his family. He is a wonderful big brother to his baby sister Eliza and loves to play with his big sister too. He is just such a joy to have. I love you Spencer!
