Kidnapper

Monday I picked up Heston and his friend at the friend's home. I went to get on the freeway on the other end of town and was almost ran off the road by a Gold Honda Mini-Van. The driver was of course talking on her cell phone. I thought she was just distracted and blew it off. Then as I went to get on the Freeway (Benjamin Exit), it happened AGAIN- this time I almost hit into some construction trucks. The kids in my car were saying that Mini-Van lady was honking at me. I controlled the urge to flip her off. So the whole way to the Payson exit this lady is tailing me. We pulled into the Walmart parking lot & I told the kids in my car to stay put, me and Mini-Van lady were going to CHAT. I couldn't even get out of my car quick enough for her to be at my car door screaming that I had her son in my car. The lady was INCHES from my face- She went on and on that her daughter SAW her son get in my car, that i took him, he was missing- blah blah. I told her I didn't know her, or her son and there was no child related to her in my car & told her that she had better back off several times. I wanted to punch her SO bad. Um, it made no difference what I said- she was still shouting. People in the parking lot were looking at the whole scene of course. I told the kids to get out of my car and she proceeds to move them out of the way so she can look in my car for her "missing son". Where did she think I had him? Under a seat? This went on for a bit and I told her she was CRAZY & NUTS, locked my car and we headed into Walmart. I called my mom to laugh/vent about it and she said I probably better call police dispatch b/c the lady had probably called them. Sure enough, she had- while on her wreckless driving pursuit of me. Dispatch was really nice and almost laughed that the lady told them that I indeed did NOT have her 14 yr old son after all. Yes, you read right- 14! So what do you think? If a KIDNAPPER had your child, do you run them off the road trying to kill everyone in the car- then scream and freak out at them in a parking lot? and seriously why would I take a 14 yr old to Walmart after kidnapping him? I have passed crazy ladies house since this incident and she just runs into her house. Maybe she's a little embarrassed??? Hide your children b/c you never know if I will steal them.

Summer Update

Ok family, here's an update post- no more nagging me.

Heston: Wyatt coached Heston's Baseball team again this year and for the 2nd year in a row they won their division, played for the City Chamionship and went to the State Tournament & placed 6th. It was fun to see Heston's progress as a ball player. The last game at State all the players rushed Wyatt with a group hug, totally made me tear up. The kids & parents were great this year. Heston also went to the State Hershey Track Meet again for the Relay Race with his track buddies. It was Fun times. Now there is a 2 week break until Football tryouts & team picks.

Maddy: I coached her TBall team. It was AWFUL. She didn't want to be there most of the time & I have learned that I will NEVER try to coach Kindergartners again. Maddy loves loves loves dance and I will not try to get her to love softball like i did. We just found out she got picked to be on a dance competition team for a studio in town. She is SOOO excited.

Wyatt has been busy with the farm & trying to keep a chin up about the economy and work. They laid off his secretary last week, she had been there 22 years and he is really upset about it. There have been some other lay offs and thankfully he has made it through the last cuts. He really loves his job and the people he works with so please cross your fingers for him.

I have been working on getting rid of my farmers tan that I received via the ball park & the farm. We are loving the payson pool. I also started running and have actually loved the time to be by myself. I was getting pretty confident until Heston just told me Wyatt's comments about my running form when I started running in June. Apparently I was doing more moving in an up and down motion than forward. Guess I fixed my stride a little_ No wonder my times are getting a little better- haha

Dearest Robyn

My deepest apologies to Robyn and her daughter Kennedi, who will be my daughter in law). To sum it up, Robyn was viewing my blog and in walks K- since Robyn was on the nip pic, she scrolls down quick so K can't see, quicker past the crochet scene and lands on the winter flip-off and K saw it. How embarassing- I am evil. Hope this hasn't ruined Heston's chances with K. However, K will fit right in if she thinks flipping off is funny- it is a bad bad habit of mine.

For Sale Sign Is Down-

We are going in another direction. We are actively looking for a lot. Know of any? Something just doesn't feel right about building right now. Maybe it's the builder. Maybe it's just the crappy market. But- Good things have come out of this 2.5 week attempt to sale- the basement is now 99% done. Just a few small things here and there to finish. This means less nagging from me. Plus, we just paid off a bunch of debt. So now I will not have to sniffle and get water logged eyes when I look at my neighbors. You are stuck with me whether you like it or not.

Shame Shame I Know Your Name

I'm heading out to the For Sale sign in my yard to put MORE flyers in the box. It's all part of the process. BUT It's annoying when one person takes SEVERAL. I know how it is, you are wondering what your neighbor's price is- you open the box- take a peak- but generally you leave it there.

It's pretty funny when I see you take them all. LMAO
