I, Ian Finian Heng, was born in 1987 to Catholic Teochew parents.
I am Catholic and a member in the Legion of Mary (Our Lady of Mount Carmel Mandarin Junior Curia). The Faith is an important aspect of my life.
I possess a Diploma of Molecular Biotechnology (2004 – 2007) from Nanyang Polytechnic. I am particularly interested in microbiology and biochemistry.
In my free time I read books of all kinds. At one point of time I wrote poetry, but I have some how lost inspiration. I hope to pick up my pen again.
I am a anime fan, especially of the mecha genre. The most famous of the all mecha anime is of course, Gundam. One of my favourite stories in the Gundam anthology is Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket . If any Gundam title is capable of bringing one to tears, it’s this one. You can more or less guess how the name of this blog came about.
