BLAINE

So last night we were eating pancakes for dinner. We started Blaine eating before everyone else because he seemed so tired. He ate all his pancake and within just a few minutes after turning our backs away from him we found him like this...... :)

......With one hand gripping the table and his body laying on the chair, sound asleep.
Then this morning after I drop off the girls at school I sit down to eat breakfast and check my e-mail. Blaine comes up to me begging for a bite of cereal (he had already had a bowl :) ) and as he is leaning in he falls forward, his chin hits my bowl, the bowl flips up in the air, and cereal and milk go flying everywhere. The picture below was the end product. Along with cereal and milk on the floor and on one of the kids stuffed chairs.
He keeps me on my toes! Luckily instead of getting upset ALL I could do was laugh and go get my camera. This boy is something else!

My Man

He is Mr. Fix it! I LOVE it!!! Anything he puts his mind to he can do. His power window stopped working and we recieved some quotes from a few different places to fix the window. The quotes were around $479.00. CRAZY!!! So Paul bought the parts for $100 and an hour later his window is fixed. He saved us $400.00.

What Makes Me HAPPY

These "CUTIES" are what makes me happy. They fill my heart with joy! They are each others "BUDDIES". Of course there are times when they argue....like all siblings do or hurt each others feelings, but they are so quick to forgive and forget one another. They wipe each others tears and LOVE to play together. As long as they have the relationship they do now for the rest of their lives, I will be HAPPY. Watching them play with each other this afternoon made my day! It made me HAPPY!! :)

Nightstands

I am soooooo excited! I have been looking for the perfect nightstands for our bedroom and my husband found them. They are really good quality and are made by Ethan Allen. The house they were in went through a fire. We wiped them down some. You can see where stuff was sitting on the table that protected the original color of the nightstands during the fire. With a little TLC (sanding and a new coat of paint...in blue-thank you Alicia for the paint :)...they used to be white) they will look like brand new. Woohooo! Did I already mention how excited I am for this DIY project.

Keeping Me on My toes at 2 years-Happy Birthday Blaine!

So our "littlest man" turned 2 yesterday! Where did my baby go? He still loves to cuddle though :). AND gives the best kisses in the world....over and over and over again. I made a white chicken chili last night for this boys birthday dinner and he fell asleep before 6:00 :(. So he is just going to have to enjoy it for lunch today. We did have a little breakfast celebration with "Dunkin Donuts"....surprise, surprise. :) He was so cute when we started to sing to him, he was singing to himself too.

Blaine is so FULL of life. Anyone that meets him or knows him ALWAYS says what a HAPPY boy he is....and that is sooo true. He just loves life. He is a "dare devil". NO FEAR...which leads me to believe he may be the one that has the broken leg or arm or stiches in this family. He is always banging his head on something (the floor, a stool, a cabinet, our heads...the list go on and on). He is testing boudaries right now, but is a WONDERFUL helper. He always helps when it is clean-up time and he always helps me clear dishes from the table. Blaine LOVES his brother--they are best buddies and adores his sisters. We love our little man and hope that he remembers having a WONDERFUL birthday (pictures of the party I will post later).

Almost Black

So I went to get my hair trimmed the other day and decided to go darker with my hair color for the winter season. It has taken me a couple of days to get used to because it is sooooo much darker than how I had it before. Before I had blonde and caramel color highlights in it.

But I think I am going to like it!
