Learning so fast!

In the midst of picking up dirty clothes around the house I found Ry rushing into the bathroom. I followed him in trying to distract him & get him back out to the playroom.

Instead of heading to the toys in the tub as usual, he went & dried his hands. After seeing him do it three times I began wondering why he had wet hands at all.

I managed to get him out & proceeded to head to the laundry room while trying to figure out my little mans wet hands. As I headed left, he veered right. Straight for my room where, uh-oh. Yep. Right before my eyes my little guy turned out to be a little cleaner.

The glass of water I'd left on the floor had been upset & he was trying to grab another towel & was heading back to my room to clean it up.

This whole thing took about 20 seconds but right before my eyes my toddler turned big boy as he attempted to clean up his accident!

How sweet this boy is!!

Well, at times. He is now back to upsetting every possible item in the house & relocating anything he can pick up. Apparently, he doesn't like our decorating style. ;-)

4 Month Checkup

Today we did Addison's 4 month checkup & got the rest of her 2 mo shots. She did great & only cried a little after the shots. Since she shed her first tear following the 2 mo shots I was prepared!

Here are Addi's stats:

Length: 24 inches, 40%
Weight: 14 lb 13 oz, 75%
Head: 15 1/2 inches, 10%

Compared to Ryder at 4 mo (since I didn't do many entries for Ryder last year):

Length: 27 3/4in, 90-97%
Weight: 17 lb 1 oz, 97%
Head: 16 1/2in, 50-75%

Big differences in those percentiles!

After the exam I borrowed their scale to check Ry's weight & he measured in at 27 lbs! Can't wait to get his 2 year stats & Addi's 6 month stats!

The passing of a wonderful woman & amazing grandmother

My grandmother has joined my grandfather & aunt today & finally finds peace & comfort in the arms of our Lord.

I look forward to the day we are all together again & know I will see you waiting for me at the gates of Heaven.
