I just found this pic and had to post it! I think it is Dallas New Years Eve 2001!!! So young and carefree. Not to mention before kids!

So not much going on here in LR. We are just looking forward to the big trip to Houston. Unfortunately not looking forward to the change in climate and humidity! I have included some pics of the past week Ella has been getting really good at riding her bike and she LOVES to play golf with her daddy! Thanks Aunt Lora Sundbeck for the sidewalk chalk we use it literally every day!

Bye bye bottle, hello sippy cup!

So I thought I would take a minute to update on what is going on with us. I have done a lot of picture posts but not much else! No pics this time because Brady has our camera, but I will make up for it this weekend and take and post pics! Victor and Ella have both been sick with really bad sinus infections, but they are both getting better now. This is good for me because I no longer have 2 babies! HA! Ella had been giving me more trouble than normal in the last few weeks. Her fit throwing was out of control the "terrible twos" was more like the monster is rising out of her twos! She is now behaving and acting like a little angel again and I am so thrilled she got it all out of her system. One more week of that crap and I don't know what I would have done! The big news is we are officially rid of the bottles. Yes I know you are thinking WHAT she is two and still on the bottle?!? Yes she was up until about a week and a half ago. The main delay was my fault, I was really scared she would freak out (like she did about the big girl bed) the child hates change in her routine! I am proud to report it was the easiest thing I have done as a parent so far! The doc told us to just tell her we had to give them away to someone she knows and it would make it a little easier. We told her we were going to send all of her bottles to Lauren (Emily's youngest) because she is a baby and she needed them. She informed us that she was not a big girl she was still a baby and we better not give them to Lauren. She eventually got used to the idea and she said that "she hopes Lauren likes her bottles" YEAH!!!! It is kinda funny she sometimes gets cranky and starts crying and says "Mommy don't let Lauren take my toys too." It is so sad!
We are also working on getting rid of the sleep pacifier. Her response to this was classic "don't sell my paci's to Lauren, tell her to get her own!" I will let you all know how this turns out! To be continued.........

*Just a side note: Ella has been drinking from a cup for some time, like since 9 months, she just refused to drink milk from anything other than the bottle. I just don't want anyone to think I am that slow!

We spent most of the week running around, but we did make it to River Fest. Ella LOVED it, we went last year but she was a little young. Yes, that is my child in her diaper running through the water. We are living in AR you know and it was REAL HOT!

We had so much fun! Thanks for coming Mom, and we miss you tons! Congrats to Lora and Cody on the baby! I love you!
