T'was the night before Christmas

Image

Well the stockings are hung (not by the chimney, don't have one) with care in hopes that Santa will soon leave presents ( my kids version).

Image

Cookies and Milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer left on the counter.

Image

Children all nestled all snug in their beds, 2 asleep with sugar bums ( that's what the girls call them) dance in their heads. And one little boy who can't fall asleep, the excitements to much to take.

Image

Mom and Dad want to sleep ( Well I guess dad is asleep), but there is to much to be done.

Image

As soon as this little boy can rest for the night. Soon ( I hope) St Nick will be here,

Christmas Assembly

Image
Today Mik had a Christmas assembly and the kindergartner's were singing 2 numbers; up on the roof top and Jingle Bells( Mik couldn't believe I knew the secret way to sing it, you know, like a light bulb, monopoly and all that). Mik was so excited he asked me to come parents were not invited because they said there would be no room but I talked to one of the aids and she said come anyway. I am glad I did! I have not been able to volunteer in his class so it was fun to see him interact with all the other kids. He was well behaved, The teachers aid just loves him and says he is her favorite, Mik says the same about her in fact he talks more about her then his real teacher. Mrs.Edwards (the aid) said Mik is a born leader, every one just listens to him while he delegates, and he is very nice about it. She about died when I told her his sisters are the boss at our house, she didn't think anyone could boss him around, I guess that's what happens when your twin sisters out number you. Anyways the assembly was so cute all the kids in their little reindeer hats and the kids were just beaming with enthusiasm, it's to bad that naturally disappears as they move up in grade.

Well I had to show you this picture of Halli also, not to rain on Mik's parade( although he is probably use to it). The kids eat oranges like crazy so bad Halli has a canker on her tongue but keeps eating oranges. This is the new fashionable smile in our home.

Keeping busy!

Image
(Think They put enough sprinkles on?)
The girls have been out of school now for a few days so I have to keep busy or the days are long and hard. We have made cookies gone Christmas shopping, grocery shopping, cooked for my moms Christmas party, made some Christmas gifts, watched Barbie Nutcracker 802 times ( well it seems anyway)and a whole lot of other stuff. Oh and yours truly has gained another year on her life ( I am now 26 years old) which is weird that I have 3 kids by now and I said I wouldn't even get married till I was 25. Life changes in an instant right!

We are so ready for Christmas the stockings are hung, there are presents under the tree, and 3 very anxious children can't wait any longer they sit by the tree holding and counting their presents asking if it s Christmas yet. Note to self mik can read now ( kinda) enough to read the little writing on the back telling me whats in the present( can't do that anymore). I do that so on Christmas eve I can grab the ones with the Pajamas and slippers and not have to guess, it worked out this year until Mik read it aloud to everyone, Oops. Oh well!
The girls are also sick today but what's new, right? Mik had pajama day at school, so we are having pajama day here at home too. well looks like the girls found the hiding spot for the the candy, see ya!ImageShopping with mom( this was the bribe)

Santa Came for a visit!

Image Last night Santa came to the girls school. So we went to sit on the old fella's lap. The kids were so excited, Mrs. Clause was there to. Mik was so excited he said " I have never seen Mrs. Clause before" I guess they were good kids this year so good they got the presence of the misses. I beg to differ I don't know if they were that good, if you don't believe me read through all the posts from this year. But they have been good enough for Santa, he told them they were, so I guess he will be coming after all. Were Y'all Good to? Will Santa be coming round to your house?

With finals next week and a 25 page paper do on a scientific nature all I have to say right now is BA HUMBUG!!!!!!!!! Talk to me after Wednesday and I'll probably be more in the spirit. I;m in a bad mood right now. Any one know how to write a APA format Science report with back pages and front pages and all those goodies you put in a professional research paper? please call. That's all I want for Christmas. Not much o a request!

Not Again!

Image

Yes it is true we have had the luxury of going to the E.R. again. people are going to start asking questions.

Well on Saturday my kids were crazy, just bouncing off the walls. Scott was at the big game BYU Vs. U of U. I the lucky one was at home with the kids setting up the last little bit of Christmas stuff. We had managed to get through most of the day with out a major accident and then Scott got home and his friend Morgan came in for a minute. You know what kids do when there are visitors. well they went crazy, running all over next thing I know Kinzie is crying and the other 2 run out we didn't hurt her, she did it her self ( exactly). I went to check on her she came out of the bedroom crying and as I went to pick her up I saw blood I looked at her nose, nope it wasn't coming from the nose( of course that would be to easy), as I went to pick her up I felt a shower of something wet on my arm, ( That wet stuff was blood) blood just a drippin from her head, as I look up its all down the hall way trailing into Mik's room. (Great, I know) I turn her around to Scott and Morgan , They were floored. At this point Kinzie doesn't know she is bleeding until later she see's the rag soaked in blood then starts to freak out, saying " my blood is spilling out, whhaaaa" Anyways an E.R. trip and a staple later, she is put back together again. Running around like the crazy kid she is. Oh yes she hit her head right on the corner of the window seal, thats what did it.

As for our Thanksgiving, it was good we watched the parade my kids love to watch this every year the girls just love all the dancing and this year the girls favorite was the Barbie Island Princess. We also were watching because The band from Scott's High school was there American Fork High School Band We watch all that time and they only showed them for a few seconds. During the parade the girls also helped me cook some thanksgiving stuff for dinner at my mom's that's what those pictures are.
ImageImage
On Friday we set the tree up. It takes me hours to put the lights on the tree ( I wish we had a pre lit) Scott won't even help, I guess in the past when he did it I took them down and started again, sorry it's Christmas it's got to be just right. This year I think I set a record I said it takes me hours well this year that's all it took for the lights last year almost 1 day and 1/2 of another.Well once I got the lights on I let the kids go wild and put on the ornaments, later to take them down when they are sleeping and do it right. They don't even notice they just like having the tree up. As you can see in the picture all the ornaments were in clumps, but they had fun.

Not To Much

ImageWell you think we would be busy since the Holidays are among us. But we really have nothing new going on in our life. School is still there hanging over our head. We have been to the doctors again, and the girls just have really bad allergies. so all of you that thought the same as I a green nose does not always mean they are sick and contagious. It could be just the bodies way of getting out some germs or they could just have allergies, as in our case after we had tried all sorts of antibiotics. This picture is the girl waiting for their Flu shots. No worry not even a whimper they were just to excited about the my little pony band-aids. Anyways.
Image
Watching a little Dora!
ImageImage
We also went to the Dentist, the kids love the pediatric dentist they keep asking when we are going back. I love it. And they love to floss their teeth. Don't get me wrong they have been to the Dentist before this isn't new. I guess it is just their age. If any one needs a pediatric dentist in the area I totally recommend Dry Creek Dental in North Lehi Almost in Alpine. And he gives awesome toys not just those toys you throw in the garbage when the kids go to bed. Mik got one of those over the door basket ball hoops and Kinzie got a little purse with pretend make up, Halli got a princess hat, they were all a big hit with my kids.

Well its time to pick up the boy I have to go.
Happy Turkey Day to all and to all a good piece of pie!

Boo!

Well it is long gone, but I said I would post some Halloween pictures.

Image

ImageImage
The Night before Halloween we finally got around to carving pumpkins the girls wanted spooky faces but later decided on silly faces( do to there moms lack of artistic talent)! Mik just wanted to carve it all by himself, and that I was not all for, Scott helped him. Halli didn't want to touch any of those slimy pumpkin guts. Kinzie on the other hand dove right in, and of course used it as a scare tack tic against Halli, holding the slimy go in her face or above her head. She just got a kick out of it!

Halloween day out getting the kids in their costumes. The Girls went in their costumes from last year to school so we wouldn't have to do any major repairs to the devil costumes. Later me and Scott went to the infamous school parade, except it was just the kindergarten classes since the real parade was later in the day, long after Mik was out of school. Lots of cut costumes, I must say.
Latter we trick or treated in downtown American Fork, That's just down the street for all who don't know. A whole bunch of business's where doing a safe trick or treat for kids. That night Scott went to take them here at home but nobody was really home so they went to papa and mema's. Who ever told me to get a lot of candy because apartments get a lot of people please come pick up some candy! We had 4 knocks. And now I have 2 LARGE cauldron's full of candy.
Well that's all about Halloween! Oh Scott felt he needed to get out the hunting clothes to and be Mik hunting buddy( That's what Mik was, a hunter).EXCUSES.

In the past few weeks we have had some world traveler in our family and they have been missed . Amy and Matt were in Italy for 2 weeks and our Papa has been in Tokyo this passed week, and comes home tomorrow, the kids are so excited! I just want them to know we are sorry that they got to enjoy the luxuries of traveling without small children, it will be short lived though, since Baby boy Field is due to arrive in March. And the Doctor said it's a big one! Good Luck Amy! Hope all your ribs are still intact by week 40 J.K.!

We Have Chairs now!

Image Our stuff has finally arrived from North Carolina ( Fire Ant's and all) with a long story I won't bore you though. So this is how we have been eating our meals. This is the kids eating breakfast before school. The kids are so excited to have there stuff it was like Christmas for them. I guess we should have put there toys in the storage shed and wrapped them up for Christmas. Just kidding. I have know Idea when are house will be livable I cant even put things away because I can't get to the cupboards because there are to many boxes in the way. We are still sleeping on the floor except the girls. We have no room to set them up until we work our way through the boxes. I thought we got rid of a lot of stuff, obviously not enough. So we are giving away a lot and it's nice stuff so you all might want to check at the D.I. in the next few days(weeks) while we send our shipments, or come on over and take your pick.
Anyways we have been busy unpacking. oh and Mik's birthday party went great. all the girls that came were so cute. All their moms said they here a lot about him. Mik has been coming home from School with LOVE Letters it is so funny except they all say" Emily + Nick, Kenzi Loves Nick" an so on they all call him Nick, a few of the mom called me to apologize because they had helped them write it and thought his name was Nick to. The thing that bothers me is that all these kids are in his class you think the teacher would tell them his name is not Nick, it's Mik. Gosh! I thin it is started to bother Mik to.I hear him repeating,my name is Mik not Nick, all the time.
Image ImageImage
Anyways, We also went to the canyon with some good friends of ours ( the manning family) for family night on Monday. It was so much fun the weather was great. There was inches of leaves all over the ground it reminded me of North Carolina. I love piles of leaves. I don't miss the early mornings of hearing the leaf collectors scrapping their shovels on the streets scooping up the leaves, and cleaning out the gutters. The kids just love going to the canyon especially with the Manning's. Scott and Morgan (Manning) Have been friends since they were about 4 or 5. Scott is glad to be living close to him again.

We went to a party on Saturday and they all looked so cute( Thanks Heidi Hiller) I wont show pictures till after Halloween, but so dang cute.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

ImageMik will be 6 years old at 2:03 A.M. Sunday October 21. I can't believe it has been 6 years, wow time flies. Mik came into this world after 4 days of lying in the hospital, and on the starting of the 5th day they took him emergency C-section. He was the cutest baby ever and I'm not just saying that because I am his mom. really he was so cute, that big round head and that big dimple. He melts my heart every time I look at him Mik is such as great blessing in our family, he has to put up with a lot especially from his mischievous twin sisters who always seem to have something up their sleeves. But he still loves love. Mik is so loving and is always worried about everyone, we love him so much. He is also the funniest and most energetic boy out there and is over flowing with personality. I can't get enough of this kid! O.k. I'm getting all mushy and it's choking me up. I just wanted everyone to know it is Mik's birthday and we love him like crazy! Happy Birthday Mik!
This is the youngest picture I could find on the computer( he is 3 in the picture), are stuff is is finally on it way as I speak from North Carolina, I'll have to post a baby picture later Image

Pictures, Blah!

Image I don't know if it's a motherly thing but every year around this time I think I'm a photographer for a moment. I try to take photos of my kids by my self. And as always it was a nightmare, and I wanted to strangle my kids. I don't know why I try this every year, I guess I was hoping to save a penny and not go to the pro's. well I did get some good shots of the back of their heads, and some nice scenery shots. When I get 2 of there attentions then one is looking the other way and refuses to look at me or is sticking out their tongue or making a funny face. By the way not one picture to hang over the mantle out of 298. Thank goodness for the Digital camera! Anybody know a good photographer in the area. Please give them my number!

This is what I had to deal with!
But they are cute!
