Why?
What they have in store for me?
A story, tell my battle scars
For I am what I want to be.
Blue
One evening
By the window
Sun rays on the sill
Unmindful of their cage so,
Love birds start necking!
Sweet mornings
Your warmth lingers with
The trenches in the mattress.
Sweet winter mornings!
Night sky
Moon shone, and the stars,
Twinkling plane lights move across –
Sky decorated!
Hide and seek
Oh pretty green parrot,
My noisy little neighbour,
You love creating a racket
And hiding in the trees’ cover
But look! This morning,
As the rays fell on trees auburn,
They looked alight in fire,
Shedding leaves turn by turn.
Oh poor pretty green parrot,
My noisy little neighbour,
You were rather quiet today,
Having lost your hiding cover.
As I enjoy the silence,
That autumn mornings bring…
I know you are plotting and waiting,
For summer to hide and sing!
Mischievous moon
Drifting between sleep and dreams,
Drowsy eyes flutter like a butterfly
The blinds shiver just a tad,
Knocking on the sill gently.
The eyes open as quickly as it closes,
Only to see the full moon hide.
She giggled and glittered behind a cloud,
Caught peeking in your pleasant dreams.
Another evening
Autumnal hues,
A coppery sunset,
Warmth in cuddles…
