Moon shone, and the stars,
Twinkling plane lights move across –
Sky decorated!
Moon shone, and the stars,
Twinkling plane lights move across –
Sky decorated!
Drifting between sleep and dreams,
Drowsy eyes flutter like a butterfly
The blinds shiver just a tad,
Knocking on the sill gently.
The eyes open as quickly as it closes,
Only to see the full moon hide.
She giggled and glittered behind a cloud,
Caught peeking in your pleasant dreams.
A million moons
Reflecting from the shards
Broken beauty
Unmarred radiance,
Dark spots only adorn her face.
The moon knows no flaws.
She smiles her brightest
As waves make love to the shore,
Moon – she plays cupid!
