Mischievous moon

Drifting between sleep and dreams,

Drowsy eyes flutter like a butterfly

The blinds shiver just a tad,

Knocking on the sill gently.

The eyes open as quickly as it closes,

Only to see the full moon hide.

She giggled and glittered behind a cloud,

Caught peeking in your pleasant dreams.

Cupid

[I am experimenting with poems spun around love and making love, trying to keep them tasteful as much as possible. I have to admit, they are more difficult than expected. Would love you all to be my critics 🙂]

She smiles her brightest
As waves make love to the shore,
Moon – she plays cupid!
