The March of Love: Like a Lion, or a Lamb?

Soft, gentle
caresses ignite
a spark…slow
sensual
kisses lead to passionate
lovemaking climax.

(or…vice versa)

Explosive
passion, hungrily
stripping clothes,
devouring
kisses — passionate climax
slows to soft kisses.

(or…both!)

Waiting for the End

-less nightmares
to cease appearing
when eyes close
and sleep nears.
The replaying, quieted,
as softly he prays.

EVENING VISITOR

With hands plunged
in a sink of suds
I wash, and
watch, the red
bird flits from feeder to bath.
I sure miss my dad.

Leave me a
-lone with my thoughts, please
leave me a

And one more thing, leave me a
lone donut to eat.

To and fro
She passes over
My threshold
While longing
For the pace to slow enough
To enjoy the view
