Happy October!

I love fall, the weather has been getting a little bit cooler in the morning.

I have been very busy getting ready for the Cameron Street Fair this weekend.

Lots of painting going on here.

Puppy Business

Things are pretty busy here, with a lack of sleep due to this little one:

Burlap Painting

I have been working on some small paintings on burlap.  
I figured I would practice on some small ones.

It was fun, think I will have to get to work on some bigger ones.

Painting Sunflowers

I love painting Sunflowers, they are my favorite things to paint.

When I am trying new techniques, I often use sunflowers as the subject because I am so comfortable painting them.

Here are some that I have painted:

Acrylic on canvas, one of my favorite paintings.  I kept this one for myself. :)

 This is one I recently did doing markers, it was a lot of fun.

This is pen, watercolor and collage.

Acrylic on canvas with polka dots. :)

Pen, watercolor and colored pencils.

I did this one today, acrylic on burlap. Hard to get details on the burlap, but fun.

Now, if only I could grow sunflowers...I have planted them so many times with no luck.

Hydrangeas

This summer has been a great summer for hydrangeas.  
Mine bloomed so pretty this year.

This bush started out blue, but has more purple in it this year.

I love the colors.

They are just so pretty!
