DECEMBER

In December we:


Took family pictures
Saw Marvin Goldstein perform in Grammy's living room
Went to a Marvin Goldstein concert
(Whitney) Accompanied the Brimhall Jr high choir for their concert
Saw Little House on the Prairie at the Gammage
Went to Thatcher for Christmas
Wore new Christmas jammies




Woke up as excited as ever on Christmas morning "played" in the snow in Thatcher (or maybe just took pictures and drank hot cocoa)
Spent lots of time together :)

Whit turns 25

Emily knows something's different.
Her mom's getting old

My birthday started off with Waffles (my fav)
A trip to the zoo followed that
then a NAP (awesome)
Dinner at Joe's BBQ
and ended with one HILARIOUS NIGHT at JESTERZ

One of Brad's seminary students works there and is apparently related to the owner or something. What does that mean?
That means they did a special skit JUST FOR AND ABOUT ME!
I was CRYING it was SO FUNNY

If you know me well, you can only imagine what this skit involved. I also need to add that it was a male who played the part of "Whitney":

THE SHINER

Emily is a ball of energy. I love being around her because she gets so excited about the simple things in life. She's thrilled to see a bird fly by or a cat run across the street. Emily talks more, comes up with new dance moves when she's feelin' the beat, and waves her arms to "lead the music". I get to behold this cuteness on a daily basis. Lucky me!

She slipped on her toys. I thought about changing her costume to a boxer or football player for the trunk-er-treat tomorrow.

The loot she stored one night:

I like doing laundry
I don't like scrubbing showers or mopping floors
I want some headbands and necklaces from this site (my Sis-in-laws mom)
Emily just unrolled a whole thing of dental floss
I started doing P90X with Brittney once our bootcamp session ended
Sometimes I'm scared that P90X will turn me into a man
I love that Emily sleeps 12 hours at night and takes good naps
At the grocery store, a little girl asked me, "Are you a girl?"
(I was wearing a pink shirt, pearls, and sparkily shoes....?????)
I LOVED watching Stephanie Nielsen on Oprah. She is a gem and a great example
Emily stuffs anything she can into the 1 and only cupboard we didn't put a child lock on.
At night when she's in bed, I open "her" cupboard and smile at all of the treasures she stored
Brad is a genuine, good man. I'm glad he's mine :)
The new candy corn flavors are not for me. I'm all about the original
All Brad will ever have for breakfast is: yogurt, or a chocolate carnation breakfast milk drink
I like being the ward choir pianist and accompanying for people. It gives me a reason to practice
I thought I turned 25 last year. Luckily, I really turn 25 this sat!
I think it's annoying how they clap so much on the wheel of fortune

Emily has such a cute personality. She is SO FRIENDLY and says "HI" in her high, sweet voice to EVERYONE we encounter...WHEREVER we are. She says:

Jesus
ball
doggy
she does monkey sounds, sheep sounds, dog and cat sounds

That's all I can think of right now and we're off to eat Thai food before another Elders Quorum Basketball game! See ya later!!

MY SILLY SLEEPERS

Those kids at seminary tire him out, I tell you what. :) He actually fell asleep like this one day after school.

She prefers to sleep in unusual ways as well:

Unrolls toilet paper,
Relocates items in the house (Brad found his hair gel in the hamper, Toys in the tupperware cupboard, a book in the garbage can...just to name a few)

This girl

says "Uh, Oh"....and THEN throws something,

Wears a bow or clip for less than 2 seconds,

Climbs up on (and too frequently falls off of) furniture

This girl

Helps her mom burn LOTS of calories chasing her around

Brings sunshine to her parents lives

What's been going on...

This guy got hired as a full time seminary teacher
This girl played with a pink frosted cupcake on her birthday

This girl tried really hard to watch the movie her cousins were watching in aunt Kodi's car (darned rear facing carseats)

This couple enjoyed eating at Robertos in Del Mar, California during the Smith family vacation

This cute birthday girl fell asleep after....

This cute cousin pushed her around the Carlsbad outlets

This family loves spending time together

FAMILY REUNION

In July we had a wonderful Walker family reunion in Colorado.

The weather was delicious...and the scenery....unbelieveable
