My baby is 18 months!!

I am so behind on posting I need to catch up =) I just thought I would put down some thoughts of my youngest now turning 1 1/2 years old, yikes!!! It seems like just overnight she went from a baby to a toddler. Don't let her fool you, she has no problem keeping up with her older brother and sister and has even figured out how to scale to the top of her and her sister's bunkbed. It scares me to death and we are trying our darndest to figure out how to keep her down and as most know her temperment is catching up to her red hair and she will figure out a way. It is amazing how much her physical and emotional traits have changed and she is on her way to being able to do almost as much as her siblings and that is making her very happy ha ha!! We love you Avery!!

Memorial Day 2009 camping

We bought a new, well new to us, travel trailer and it worked out perfect we already had reservations at a campground near our home for the weekend so we able to use it there. My sis Jess and my nephew Carson came with us and we had a great time being able to spend the weekend together. I feel so spoiled to be able to have a trailer since I have spent my whole life so far tent camping. I do enjoy tent camping and we will still do that with the kids, but it sure was nice to have a cool, dry place to get away to. The kids really enjoyed it too. I don't know for many of you, but tent camping can get old after a few days and it will be really nice to have some more options of where and how long we can go for with comfort. I guess we will be planning a lot of vacations now around the trailer, but I don't mind and we will have many great memories with the kids!!

What a zoo!

We had the chance today after the kids went to have their ball pictures taken to go to a nursery in our area that has a baby zebra and kangaroo!! The kids loved it. Rog's mom and stepdad met us out there and grandpa Gary took these pictures. The zebra is only 30 days old! He was so cute! The man in the photos is his owner and the zebra followed him everywhere. He kept nuzzling his bottom and putting his nose in the flower pots, I think he was hungry =) I guess he comes in the house sometimes too. The baby kangaroo is about 6 months old and his name is Rocco and is bottle fed. He will be around 4 feet tall at his mature height and it can take 15 years for him to reach that. They were so darn cute! Ellie asked when we got in the car if she can have a pet kangaroo for her birthday. Oh the wishes of little kids =)

Spring Break beach trip

will write more about our beach trip later. I just wanted to get the pictures loaded =) Well, by uploader is now getting buggy on me and I lost a couple pictures I already downloaded and it stalled on others so, I am giving in for the night and will try again tomorrow =)

Ellie's Leprachaun trap

Ellie had a school project due today that involved building a leprachaun trap. I thought this would be a good project for her dad to work on with her since he is the one with the imaginative skills. They had a blast!! It was cute listening to them discuss their "master" plan and see it come to life. She had to be able to explain how the trap worked in class today. A few clues in building this trap was: it was to be built size wise for a leprachaun, not a giant, they like sparkly & glittery things, they are often naughty and disobey signs. I think her ideas were great!! If you double click on each picture it will enlarge it.

When the mom is away, the dad will play!

Ok, so I walk in our house just getting back from the gym, for ONE hour, and make a comment of how the house smelled really nice. I then get the answer of, it is from the hairspray and this is what I encounter!!!! Oh, the payback she will be doing to her father when she sees these pictures =)
